Spider-Man Crawlspace Podcast

This show has me frustrated, annoyed and yelling at my ipod because of what the hosts are saying most episodes that is for sure, their constant nit picking of current comics is not is a feeling not shared by me.. so why do i give them a positive rating and why do i keep listening.. . 1)because they are extremely knowledgeable on their spidey history and have a good chemistry of hosts. 2) its good to listen to opinions that ain't my own, it forces me to justify in my head why i am liking an issue (sometimes i can and sometimes they are right and i cant ) i do love how in depth they go 3) its not all current talk, their flashback at stories past is were this show shines, these guys truly love spidey of days gone by and it shows. One of the hosts ( george i believe is his name ) is the only reason i don't give these guys the full 5. i feel this man is too negative and seems to go out of his way to be so, normally i'd get over just that be at a certain point he stops reading books but still seems to go out of his way to trash them often with weak and in-factual comments. i'm fine with people dropping books because they are not enjoying but i dislike people putting down works they haven't read. Don't let this distract from you listening to what is otherwise a fine podcast and probably one of the most honest (although take with a grain of salt cause not always correct ) comic podcasts. an interesting companion piece to your spider-reading

I tried a few episodes but can’t listen to any more. I get that some of the old comics aren’t perfect but it’s so boring listening to these old guys make lame old guy jokes ridiculing them. The point of the podcast seems to be that Spider-man comics are lame. I’ve really been enjoying the Amazing Spider-cast and I was hoping this might have been up to that level. It’s really not.

The spider-man crawlspace podcast is great for all types of spidey fans, from new to old, people say the gang is too critical of the current product but they are just giving their honest opinions good or bad. If you want to hear some clearly knowledgable fans of the web-head, then this is the show for you, they'll even make you laugh on a regular basis. JR is your cranky uncle who'll tell you to "shut up and maybe you'll learn a thing or two", Ashley will always give you a refreshingly blunt opinion one way or the other, George just can't help but be hilarious, Zach whole heatedly pines for an age in spider-mans history that others would just as soon like to forget, Mike just tries so hard (I kid, I kid, he's awesome) and Brad tries but not so often succeeds in keeping his "panelists" in check and hilarity often follows. Keep up the great work guys

I have been listening to this show since it first started way back in 2007/08, my first as a podcast listener. The podcast keeps getting better and better each show and the gang (BD, JR, Stella, Zach, Michael and Kevin) gels well together and you can tell that the group are great friends and passionate about spider-man and the comic books. The show also has what could be best describe as a great supporting cast to with George and Bertone, not to mention some great interviews with the creators of some of the most influential spider-man stories of all time.
