The Game maker old man made the games like the ones he played in his traditional childhood. Kids would always try and crack the candy shape before eating it like we bite the arms and ears off tiny teddies first. It’s just a thing we do. They do different games every time because the creepy glitter mask people were surprised and didn’t know what was coming next and also didn’t grow up with those games however fundamentally the hames must always be some form of childhood game or memory because old mate wanted to finally participate and have fun for his last round as he was dying. Australian one would be like bulrush, timtam slam etc.

The theory about the picking a blue or red card determining your role in the game I think is wrong. Where it shows a screen of all the players choosing the card some of the players chose red. And some of the ones that showed red appeared as players. It’s a reference to the matrix, blue symbolising living in ignorance and red as in understanding. Also at the start of squid game when the main character chooses a card, he’s wearing a blue hat, but at the end of the season you see the same character but with red hair, symbolising his understanding and perspective. In a early episode the young girl climbs into a air duct in the toilet and when she comes back and climbs out the camera does a close up of one of the screws that isn’t tightened properly but this doesn’t lead to anything WHY could you discuss this Thanks Karlos
