    80. The Turning Point that changed Andy Ho's Comedy Career & Birthed HoeyFarmer with Ria Mestiza

Send us Fan Mail For 10 years, Andy Ho didn't pursue the dream he knew he had deep down.  In this conversation, I sit down with Comedian Andy, also known as HoeyFarmer, to talk about the turning point that changed everything.  As a teenager, Andy knew he wanted to be a comedian. But life took him in other directions, and that dream stayed on hold for almost a decade. It wasn't until he stepped away from the noise of 'Sin City' and spent time working on his father's farm that something shifted. In the quiet, he began reconnecting with himself, and the creativity that would eventually birth the characters, skits and comedy career many people now recognise online.  In this episode we talk about: - The moment he realised he had to pursue comedy - The mindset shift that changed his life - How 'HoeyFarmer' was born - The art and discipline behind comedy - Finding your identity when life feels off track The conversation even ends with a surprise guest appearance from one of Andy's characters. Making people laugh is his superpower after all :)  Andy was performing a show called "Escaping Brisbane" with fellow comedian Sahib Rana at the Adelaide Fringe Festival when we recorded this episode.  You can find Andy Ho Comedian on Instagram and HoeyFarmer on FB, Insta, Tik Tok and YouTube easily, go check him out for more laughs.
