    This episode we traveled to Essex for a conversation with Dave Ross.

    Dave's been a huge part of tattooing in the Essex area since first picking up a machine in the 60's. Tattooing has taken Dave all around the world, traveling on boats and working when they stopped. His career has enabled him to meet some interesting characters as well as being one himself!     In this episode we head up the country to the North East to meet Eddie Hardiman. Eddie started tattooing in the 1960's learning what he could from Ernie Franks in his caravan studio. Since then he has been a pioneer for tattooing and pushed his own artistic ability to award winning heights. 

    Eddie is a true gentleman and a great example of tattooing at its finest.

    Duncan began tattooing in the mid 90's with some help from Dennis Cockell. Over time he developed a style so unique that it completely changed the landscape of tattooing.

    Brent has been tattooing since the 60's and was a huge part of organising the famous Dunstable Tattoo Convention which became the blueprint for every convention that followed.

    His career has been varied, winning multiple awards and offering huge amounts to tattooing.

    In episode 2 we spoke to  tattooist and tattoo artefact collector Paul Sayce.

    Paul tattooed in south London throughout the 80s/90s, he has travelled the world collecting and documenting tattoo history since the 70's and holds a world record for the largest collection of tattoo memorabilia.  

    We explored Paul's vast knowledge of tattooing, discussing his career and the key figures in England's tattoo history.
