This podcast covers such an important topic and the way it’s being presented is wonderful to create understanding. To make what can be a triggering and difficult topic easier to listen too but still give the message is an amazing achievement.

This is such a beautiful, raw, honest, poetic and touching podcast series. I absolutely loved it and hung off every word. Madison shares herself with the listener so openly and I really felt like I had a window into her journey of recovery. The music and guest speakers add interest and each episode is unique in its own way. The last episode was incredible and touched me so deeply. Madison’s piano playing while she spoke was just so lovely. Thank you Madison.

Madison is a fantastic storyteller. Every ounce of this podcast – her narration, interviews, the choice of music – is engineered to produce a feeling, a visual. She paints a layered, lovely picture of something not so lovely. Worth a listen if you've experienced something similar, or want a little more understanding of the nuances of toxic relationships.

Madison does not over simplify the very much non-happy-ending that ending an abusive relationship is. Hearing this journey of grabbing back power is not only a careful reminder of mandating your own space in the world, but a vulnerable look of the difficulty of fighting back that so many others have glamorised.

Maddison is able to articulate the complex feelings of abuse. It unpacks the intricacies of trauma and pain. Which in itself is healing. Powerful content! It provides insight to one of the biggest epidemics in Australia, domestic violence.
