    The great sense of humour of Allan Moffat

    On 03 Feb, 2004 Bruce Mansfield and Philip Brady phoned Allan Moffatt to congratulate him on becoming an Australian citizen.  Bruce and Phil were at an outside broadcast when they put the call through.  This four minute chat shows the great sense of humour that Allan Moffatt had.  Many people are paying tribute by recounting stories from his amazing career.  But it's also great to know he was a fabulous guy as well.     With the passing of John Laws, I thought it worthwhile posting this to demonstrate what set him apart from all others.  When Rolf Harris hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons, John took the time to explain to this caller why Rolf Harris paintings weren't wanted.  Any other talkback show host would have dismissed the caller very quickly.     American Country Music Legend Conway Twitty recorded an album between 01 and 24 April 1972 at Bradley's Barn.  The album was titled "I Can't Stop Loving You" Australian Radio Personality Geoff Manion was in studio for a session as Conway recorded Unchanging Love, and White Lightning. There are five segments to thi Seg 1  Janine Walker (wife of Bill Walker) interviewed by Geoff ManionJanine is one of the "Nashville Sound Quartet". Interview is recorded at Bradley's Barn - The recording studio owned and run by Owen Bradley who is also producing the album. Seg 2 - Conway Twitty at Bradley's Barn recording the song Unchanging Love as Geoff Manion walks freely around the studio commentating whilst hearing close-ups of the various instruments.
