    Ep 237: How Christians Can Succeed Today, with Greg Sheridan, AO

    In this episode, I had the privilege of speaking with Greg Sheridan AO, one of Australia’s most respected journalists and thinkers, about his two powerful books: How Christians Can Succeed Today and God is Good for You. Our conversation included the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk, a passionate Christian who had a profound impact on the lives of many young people. This murder has ignited new urgency around the question: can Christians still succeed and thrive in a culture that often ridicules or rejects them? Greg draws insightful parallels between the challenges faced by early Christians and those confronting believers today in the West. He argues that while this is a time of hostility, it’s also a time of great opportunity, especially among younger generations searching for meaning. We explored how Christian values underpin our Western civilisation and legal system, and how understanding this heritage is essential if we are to preserve what is good and just. Greg also makes a compelling case for Christians to engage with the culture boldly, though not with coercion. He reminds us that politics is not the essence of faith, and that differing political views can still align with Christian teachings. His stories of religious courage around the world, including leaders in Asia and the Middle East, are both moving and inspiring. We also reflected on Charlie Kirk’s legacy and the cultural implications of celebrating such a murder. As always, I encourage you to think deeply about your values and the spiritual foundation of the society in which you live. Whilst celebrating Kirk’s death might disgust you, as it does me, it is not unlawful to do so. However, it is diametrically opposed to my values and I would suggest the values of most people. In my life, I choose to mix with people whose values are “civil” and whose values help to build “civil-isation”. Uncivil behaviours destroy civility.     Ep #236: Hidden Agendas of Our Politicians

    In this episode, I explore the hidden agendas behind much of what we're being told by politicians, media, and global organisations. On this Father’s Day - and also my granddaughter Mila's 10th birthday - I reflect on the influences of my own father and the freedom he and my mum sought by coming to Australia. That same passion for freedom fuels everything I do, from fighting for health and truth, to promoting industrial hemp, comedy, and sound legal and Constitutional principles. I delve into nine major areas where hidden agendas are at play: from Big Pharma's profit motives in mandating jabs, to the real story behind the Russia-Ukraine war, to censorship disguised as child protection. I expose the push for digital ID, the cosy ties between Australian leaders and China, and the sinister motives behind voting age changes and the net zero scam. I also share my thoughts on the Albanese government, the manipulation of freedom marches, and how trade union power drives questionable infrastructure spending. My message? Stay curious. Ask, “What’s the real agenda here?” And never stop thinking for yourself. As I always say: to be uncertain can be uncomfortable, but to be certain is ridiculous.     Ep #235: A Nation's Productivity is Determined by Your Personal Productivity

    In this week's episode, I delve into the crucial issue of productivity, both at the national and personal levels.  Australia, like many Western nations, is experiencing a steep decline in productivity and living standards. Politicians and bureaucrats blame everything but themselves, but I argue that the truth lies in the personal and individual detail of how we live and work.  I give you practical, visible examples of what a declining national productivity means: crumbling infrastructure, a failing health system, and poorly maintained homes, inter alia. These are real signs of a nation in decline. A nation's productivity is the carefully and accurately calculated total of each citizen's productivity.  I explore nine major productivity killers, from low personal energy and poor health to crap education, weaponised safety policies, and an over-bloated bureaucracy filled with people being paid more than they’re worth. I make the case that true productivity stems from individuals -passionate, healthy, purposeful people - not government mandates or more pen-pushers. I also offer a powerful solution: speak truth now.  Whether in your job, your home, or your community, challenge the nonsense. Understand the value you add and fight to be able to improve. As Ronald Reagan said, "small enterprises and entrepreneurs drive real economic growth, not governments".  If you want to reverse your nation's decline, you must be brave enough to speak up about the productivity killers; you must be willing to take responsibility to make your country better. The price for taking such action is real, but so are your amazing and inspiring personal rewards for doing so!     Ep #234: It's time: Time to defend national Christian foundations against dangerous forces

    In this week’s episode, I speak passionately about the urgent need to defend the Christian foundations of national constitutions, including that of Australia.  In light of recent, well-funded and ongoing protests across Melbourne and Sydney - ostensibly in support of Palestine - I highlight the concerning silence from our politicians and the lack of action by our police, and the increasing influence of political Islam in Australia. This is not about religion or individual Muslims, many of whom I know and respect; it is about the creeping imposition of a political ideology that aims to Islamise the West. I explore how political Islam is not merely a faith but a movement with a global strategy, and I ask the question: do we want Australia to become Islamic?  I strongly argue that allowing multiple legal systems, such as Sharia or indigenous courts, undermines the unity of a nation. Pandering to demands for Sharia to be allowed in Australia and other nations is weak and stupid.  I call on Australians to reject fear of being labelled and to courageously defend our heritage, our laws, our Constitution and its Christian phillosophical foundations, and our freedoms, which are particularly of Christian bases.  I call on the Australian Federal and State Governments to emulate the example of Switzerland and ban the construction of new mosques in Australia.  I call on Australia to impose conditions on muslim immigrants to Australia that they are prohibited from agitating for Islamic laws to be adopted in Australia.  The time to act is now. Delaying only increases the cost of reclaiming what we value. It will never be easier to do this than today.  I urge all who cherish their respective national constitutions and Western civilisation to stand up. We are in perilous times, and if we don’t push back now, our future - and the futures of our descendants - are at grave risk.     Ep #233: The Inspiring Bevmarks Story

    In this week’s episode, I reflect on the inspiring 35-year success story of Bevmarks, the sleep professionals. While Melbourne was packed with passionate rugby fans watching the British and Irish Lions edge out the Wallabies, I had the privilege of speaking at Bevmarks' annual awards night. My keynote centred on passion as the critical driver of sales and business success. I shared the importance of taking personal responsibility, nurturing a lifelong desire to learn, and the essential role of energy—fuelled by passion—in building meaningful relationships and delivering great customer service. Good health is a crucial factor here, and I reminded everyone that without it, we have little energy to spare. Discipline in learning and an openness to making mistakes are both non-negotiable if you want to grow. From 20 years ago, my work with Bevmarks helped to establilsh foundational practices of defining a clear business purpose, living by core values, and establishing team agreements that create a strong and cohesive culture.     Ep #230: Your Life Is In Your Blood, Says The Bible!

    In this week's episode, I explore the vital truth that your life is in your blood.  Inspired by Shane Leong’s powerful presentation at the World of Wellness, I explain why you must take ownership of your health by getting and understanding your blood test results.  Your blood carries your life force, and the so-called “normal range” used by most doctors is a woefully inadequate analysis.  You are unique, so why should you accept one-size-fits-all interpretations? With 68 available tests, don’t settle for the usual 12. I urge you to get the full suite and find someone competent to interpret what your results really mean. From the evidence of many people shared with me, the average doctor does NOT have the appropriate competence to do this. I also discuss the extraordinary value of vitamin C. Too many intelligent people with whom I am closely acquainted know too little about it. I take 7,000 mg daily when well and more when unwell.
