    Laura Garcia and her husband welcomed their baby girl, Eva, into the world 12 years ago. While Eva was a baby she became sick and developed a condition called cortical visual impairment. CVI for short. Eva's eyes work however the illness caused an issue in the cortico-visual area of her brain. So Eva is blind.
