Sent here by All Aussie podcast, who are definitely worth a follow, and I’m so impressed. I love the modern interviews mixed with the archival footage, and the sound work is beautiful. Season two please!

I came across this podcast through the Accidental Celebrity podcast. I’ve always been interested in hearing from Stuart Diver, as I went to early Primary School with him. To hear about the Thredbo Disaster and realise I had known this person brought it all closer to home. The man Stuart is today is in no small part the result of his parents’ influence in his childhood. This podcast is very sensitive and respectful to the survivors’ stories. It doesn’t shy away from the horror of their experiences. We are brought into their journeys with them. There is a celebration of the survivors. I love the bonus episode about the climate emergency we are in. Especially in light of the massive storms and flooding currently occurring in Qld & northern NSW. It’s extremely pertinent. Thanks again Stuart and your amazing team.
