From understanding your genetic risks to learning what tests are available before and during pregnancy, this episode will break down complex information in a way that’s easy to understandWe welcome back our fertility expert Dr Raelia Lew to answer these questions and more. Dr Raelia Lew is leading IVF and Fertility Expert working across multiple clinics in Melbourne. We discuss: What does genetic testing mean when it comes to fertility?  As the population is having children later in life and the birth rate is dropping, couples are often seeking genetic testing before falling pregnant, what are your thoughts on this?  What genetic testing is available? How expensive are the tests?  Are there different tests for men and women?  Why is carrier screening recommended for couples trying to fall pregnant?  How does carrier screening identify potential genetic risks?
