    What do you do when you feel like all the doors you thought would open for you are firmly shut closed? There might be a window but sometimes it's best to keep walking and find the right room for you. This episode goes into the times I've been majorly redirected, from hearing crickets about a job interview, with a surprising twist years later or even when I had to listen to my instincts and choose another option. Redirection helps us reframe life when we're feeling lost or like nothing won't quite work, which has been a big theme since my recent children's book launch.     S1 Ep. 8 - Sage and the Journey of Grief Book Launch

    This is a special episode in my podcast series. After eighteen months of working on my middle-grade novel, my book is finally here. Listen to the official launch of my children's book, Sage and the Journey of Grief. After losing my mum at the age of one, I know the confusion and pain that childhood grief can create. I wrote and illustrated this book for all the children who have experienced the loss of someone they love. I know this book won't fill the hole their passing creates but my hope is it brings comfort to all those that need it. In the episode, I read from the first two chapters of the book that follows the story of Sage just after the passing of her mum. Sage goes through the five stages of grief while navigating life, school, soccer and her friends. She's joined by her sweater-loving dad and fluffy white dog Snowy.
