    Episode 107: Leeroy Jenkins! World Eaters Incoming! Episode 107 continues to see the tables of WA bathe in blood as we follow Mike and Emma to Uprising WA in Bunbury for a 4 game tournament with both using different versions of the dread 12th Legion Astartes… the World Eaters. Lachlan is back this episode as guest host to tell us how he went as well as give his thoughts on the latest chaos release. We take a look at the new releases from Adepticon – the Lion and 10th edition featuring heavily though Killteam is also on the radar with Beastmen and more Votann in the wings. We also cover the new Snikrott and Farsight models – thanks to Games Workshop for supplying us with these models! Lachlan even made it to the Warhammer Community Page with his work!     Episode 106: Kill! Maim! Burn! World Eaters Release Episode 106 is drowning in red as the Red Angel storms back into real space at the head of the 12th Legion Astartes World Eaters and the Segmentum Solar trembles in fear! That and Lachlan is back this episode as guest host – I’m not sure which is more scary! Thank You to Games Workshop for supplying us a copy of the new codex and models early for this episode. With the amazing new range of models we dive right and talk plastic – specifically what we thought of building these new kits… but also some “missing” kits that could have been done easily and in line with other releases to really round out the range. Angron is as amazing in person as you would hope and Lachlan (Tuxedo Miniatures) did an amazing job on him I think you will agree! This chat then moves into the codex and rules again with some lamentation but also some hope – the World Eaters may be psychotic killing machines but every now and again they can outsmart an enemy and the codex is a great reflection of this paradigm.     Episode 105: No-one tosses a Dwarf! (Votann part 2!) Episode 105 has Emma back in the drivers seat and joins me to talk Leagues of Votann aka the Squats! Thank You to Games Workshop for supplying us a copy of the new army box early for this episode so I can play this game! *I will add that this episode was recorded while Games Workshop was releasing the Errata and points updates! It means some of our ideas will not be needed!* Check out the Video and Downloads on the Leagues of Votann from GW direct! The Leagues of Votann has been a polarising release for gamers with leaks a plenty, half-truths and rules fragments. I put them on the table against a strong Necron list to see what happens against a patron and friend of the show – Jason. The first game with Votann gave some interesting insights into how they might play and things you might need to think about when writing a list and deploying them. My luck when it comes to one shot weapons continues and I see a heavy conversion beamer in my future instead of a heavy rail gun on a certain land fortress. We already have some interesting results, and more games will come…. They will even go on stream once the real models are available!     Episode 104: They’re Squats Dammit! (Leagues of Votann) Episode 104 and a special guest host – our son Lachlan… has dung himself out of a hole and joins me to talk Leagues of Votann aka the Squats! Thank You to Games Workshop for supplying us a copy of the new army box early for this episode! The Leagues of Votann has been a polarising release for gamers with leaks a plenty, half truths and rules fragments. Well the other content creators showed us some issues and this is us making suggestions on how to fix them! We cover the rough issues with points, some of the flaws with the rules and also highlight some of the narrative that seems to be blown out of proportion. For the record – our suggestions outside of blanket points increases are as follows… 1 – Change Judgement tokens to only be gained 1 per enemy unit per battle round regardless of source.2 – Change Void Armour to be reduce the ap of attacks by 1 if the ap is -2 or -1.3 – Change Void Armour so that anything not in armour doesn’t get it! (remove from Berzerks, Pioneers, Grimnyr, Iron Smith)4 – Change Void Armour to only preventing rerolls to damage (remove the wound limit)5 – Change Magna Rail so that a max of 3 wounds can overflow regardless of how many are left over after a target is slain.There – all fixed!     Episode 103: Death to the False Emperor (CSM first look) Episode 103 and the CSM (or Chaos Space Marines) are here and that means a special guest host – our son Lachlan… a decision I may come to regret but here we go! Lachlan and I do a (nearly 3 hour!) hot take on the codex, exploring our first impressions of the new rules, the legions and the data sheets. We laugh at the insanity of possessed and enjoy the fact marks of chaos actually do things now! Best of all, this book has no really feel bad options – everything feels like you can build an army and make it work. I know some CSM players are upset about some of the changes but we really do feel like overall this book is a good step forward for the forces of the warmaster. We chat very quickly about the index astartes – World Eaters as well and offer our thoughts on what the new codex might bring. Three plus hours again but this time it’s a binary conversation – do you side with the Warmaster or the Master of mankind in the Horus Heresy? This episode see us delve into the new Age of Darkness box game for ‘The Horus Heresy’ by Games Workshop (thanks to GW for giving us a box early to review!) We check out the new releases, talk about what we think about the aussie pricing, discuss some of the awesome design cues and hints and discover Mike has kept his traitor roots and decided Goth isn’t Goth enough and that Night Lords are the way this box needs to be painted. We even have some sneak peaks of the converted Praetors and the Spartan ready for its consecration in blood and darkness. We then have a local hobby veteran Sam join us to talk about the past and future of Heresy gaming here in Western Australia, some of the hesitancy of the existing player base for this new version of the game and his hopes for the future.     Episode 101: On the road again – Aeldari at an Event! Episode 101 follows 100 with three plus hours of us yammering on again with much of it about Aeldari – seems to be something of a trend! You would think we could keep the times down after 100 episodes but here we are. This episode has a massive sequence of news, Adepticon reviews and most importantly coverage of the 2022 Ironman event hosted by the Toy Soldier Cartel and Beyond Odyssey. 5 games in 1 day was a massive day but I was rewarded with 3rd place for my efforts only losing to the eventual winner!   By the time this episode hits your ears we will also have released our unboxing video of the new Aeldari Avatar and Shining Spears – both amazing kits in their own right. Thanks to Games Workshop for supplying them for us to review! They even updated the Autarch data sheet recently! find that HERE We also picked up from Hobbytech Toys the new Nachmund Kill team box though Mikes excitement got the better of him and he built the new Corsairs with no unboxing or sprue photos! Might just have to buy a second box to get those I think… With wave 2 of the Aeldari now on the way, what did you think about the bloody handed god and his spears? Did you buy Nachmund? We were very excited to meet Josh and Kat from StrongborN games in a random moment and now we have Josh on to chat about the release of their PvP tabletop game – StrongborN!
