While I think the show is good in many ways (i. e. engaging host), in my opinion it is really unbalanced. This isn't too much of a problem for me as I am quite immersed in the space and am fairly knowledgeable about the cons of bitcoin. However, there are many naive and uneducated people out there who shouldn't be "shilled" to.
Please provide a more balanced view of Bitcoin with more focus on risks and regulatory developments. For example, I would like to see debates with people that have differing views and for the hosts to point to resources where people can learn more about risks. (However, I'm not sure this will happen as I suspect it might jeopardise advertising dollars.)
Bitcoin is fascinating but it deserves a more nuanced treatment on this podcast. For example, please discuss independent research about environmental aspects, and independent research about the intersection between Bitcoin and various forms of crime.
At the end of the day, the views and opinions on this podcast are heavily conflicted and people should take them as such.
I'll keep listening to the show in the hope it starts to become more balanced. There are some obvious pros of Bitcoin, but please present the other side more fully.
Sincerely,
Long term listener and regulatory lawyer
