TPNx Update: Meet and Greets
A lot of questions have cropped up around the meet and greet scheduling with American and United. This episode touches on those challenges and a little peek behind the scenes. Bottom line: Stay patient and keep a smile on your face! Much easier said than done at times like this, but it is the only way to deal with the turbulent world of aviation.
Another thing that this episode discusses is having a goal airline or job is truly a great thing, but it shouldn't close off other opportunities that may come your way. Keep every option on the table; things are changing in aviation...again. Becoming inflexible is going to create more harm than good and could put you in a tight spot down the road. This wisdom holds true for the entirety of your career, not just TPNx.

Slow downs, pauses, and hiring...oh my!
Alright everyone, the game is changing...at least a little bit. Let's not get too crazy; the Dude abides. This is just a little chat to soothe those jangled nerves and hack the clock.
This industry is cyclical and we have seen slow downs in the hiring wave before. It was time for a little chat to discuss what is going on, how I see it. It's probably wrong and crystal balls are pretty useless, but it's a good pre-primer for TPNx.

Voluntary Return to FUN!! Adam Rants...
Were you tired of having some modicum of control over your life? Sick of the time connecting with family, hobbies, new career, or company? If you made it back to the cockpit, did you realize that working a desk job in the mindless bureaucracy of the military staff was truly your 'life fit'? Well do I have good new for you!! You can go back to your active duty Air Force life at no cost to you or the DoD!
This Air Force Times article was the catalyst for a quick op-ed episode on the insanity of the program. Thinking more on it, I am not surprised; a few might go back because of extenuating circumstances or trouble adapting to civilian life. It's an even more cruel program when thought about that way...but that is just, like, my opinion man. What is your's?
