The Ian PrenderCast
We talk nonsense. Lots and lots of nonsense. Sometimes about the Carlton Football Club, but a lot of the time about all sorts of other rubbish, too.
Why do I crave this weekly…
28 Aug
I know Carlton, I know Movies, I know very little about English soccer jerseys, I know very little about Wrestling…. But I know I love this pod. I also know I love all 2 hours and however many minutes - especially the 30 minutes where they actually discuss the football. The footy discussion is intricate yet so correct. The banter is brutal yet so amusing. And why I have just been enthralled by the ratings of Premier League strips I’ve never even seen 🤷♂️. My go to weekly podcast - what am I gonna do in the off season….?
A Must listen for any Blues supporter!!!
17 Aug
The Ian Prendercast podcast is a standout in the world of Carlton Blues fan content, and much of its charm comes from the dynamic trio of Sean, Fab, and Tim. Their banter is the heart and soul of the show, with each host bringing their unique flair to the table, making every episode feel like an entertaining hangout with friends who know their footy—and much more. One of the highlights of the podcast is their off-topic discussions, especially when they dive into movies. The way they seamlessly shift from analyzing a Carlton game to debating the merits of a classic film is not only entertaining but also adds depth to the show, showcasing their personalities beyond just being footy fans. Fab, in particular, is a character who deserves special mention. His rants are the stuff of legend, and it’s no wonder that listeners are calling for a dedicated segment titled "What Grinds My Gears." Fab’s ability to vent about the frustrations of life, football, and everything in between is pure gold, and it would be a fantastic addition to the show. Overall, the chemistry between Sean, Fab, and Tim is electric. They know how to keep the conversation lively, whether they’re celebrating a Blues victory or commiserating over a tough loss. Their humor, insights, and occasional detours into pop culture make the Ian Prendercast a must-listen for any Carlton supporter—or anyone who appreciates good banter!!!
Why do I want more!?
15 Aug
Every time I see the running time I think ‘way too long fellas’, but by the end of the show I feel like I’m wanting more. I really can’t explain it! Then, sometimes it feels like I’m listening to three teenage boys argue. Which to my surprise, I actually love and can’t get enough of. These guys go on rants, mostly talk about the Blues and when they do it’s thought out, concise and well researched. They get it, they get the fans and they feel our pain. It’s a therapy session for us all and when my beloved Blues let me down (which is more often than not) these guys never do. Don’t stop arguing, don’t stop razzing Fab up, and never do a pod under two hours. Five stars!

Win or loss, it’s a podcast I always look forward to.Great analysis, that isn’t afraid to address the issues. Thank god for Yarn Wendt& Cliff Young style debates that push out the tight 45, as it’s given me some good company into another Olympic prep.
