The Q&A with Jeff Goldsmith

When this podcsat hits its stride, it is some of the most inspiring audio you will ever come across. I have a passion for film but never really knew much about the screen writers point of view. Hearing their stories about their careers and projects is truly fascinating. Can't recommend highly enough.

Each week, Jeff brings on a guest writer / film maker to discuss their latest project. He always starts out by delving into the backstory of his guest - how they started out, their process and journey that brought them to the project in question. The real nuggets of gold lie within the dissection of the story and how the guest made their creative decisions through the writing, filming and editing processes. Jeff is no slouch when it comes to researching his guests, their filmography and the craft and business of film altogether. His presentation and style makes the podcast enjoyable listening. This show lends itself perfectly to Jeff’s passion project, ‘Backstory’ magazine, which features the weekly guests and a host of other interesting articles.
