    An American SLP in Ireland

    In March 2026, I had a chat with Margaret, an American SLP living and working in Ireland. When you think of Ireland, you may picture four-leaf clovers, pots of gold at the end of a rainbow, Guinness and Riverdance. You might even feel a little bit Irish yourself, as there are an estimated 60 - 70 million people of Irish descent living outside of the Emerald Isle. But did you also know that Ireland is where Halloween originated? And that one of Ireland’s official languages, Irish Gaelic, is one of Europe’s oldest living languages? Also, fun fact: my name Erin actually means Ireland!     An Aussie SLP in New Zealand (Auckland)

    Updates from an American SLP in Australia

    Back at the start of 2025 I had a chat with Abby, an American SLP living and working on Bribie Island in Queensland, Australia. In early December, Abby and I caught up again, and I also met her partner Monique. They’ve had a big year in their business, and we wanted to give you all an update.     An American Tele-SLP in Costa Rica

    In December 2025 I had a chat with Daphne, an American SLP working remotely via tele-therapy with clients in Alaska while living in Esterillos Oeste, Costa Rica. You may know that Costa Rica is located in Central America, with the Pacific Ocean on one side, the Caribbean Sea on the other and Nicaragua and Panama as its neighbours.
