Taking his GIANTS ambassadorial duties far too seriously, Alex has now bullied his actor mate Brandon to do a podcast about their journey to discover the best pubs and eateries in Western Sydney to watch away AFL games.     The boys commiserate the devastating straight sets exit and the end of the Giants 2024 campaign. Alex also reads some excerpts from the extraordinary book Never Surrender by Georgina Hibberd who was given unprecedented access to the players and Club during their 2020 season.     Alex may well be in the South West of WA for work and while it will stop him from attending the game on Saturday, it sure as hell won't stop him recording this podcast! Alex continues regaling the rich history of the AFLW and somehow Producer Sam (a West Coast supporter of all things) is the only member of the trio attending the qualifying final.     The Finals Await

    The Giants may have lost their first game in seven weeks, but they've made the top four, which means we're going into the finals with a double chance! In a poetic turn of events for Brandon's first season as a fan, The Giants will take on their bitter cross town rivals the Blood Stained Angels in a qualifying final in a couple of weeks time. Given their is a bye between now and then and the AFLW begins this weekend; Alex takes the chance to walk Brandon through the rich history of women's football in Australia.     The Great Rivalry Continues in Ballarat

    The purple hoard have been vanquished and now it's time for The Giants to turn their attention to one of their greatest rivals, the Western Bulldogs down in Ballarat to bring this incredible season to a close. Alex and Brandon go through the tense win over Freo and admire the incredible redemption story of Jesse Hogan as well as Producer Sam's favorite Giant, Brent Daniels. The Giants have a chance to knock their staunch rivals out of the finals race and potentially secure a top 2 finish.
