I mostly enjoy the podcast, expect the latest episode re : Transgender day of visibility
The Transgender was originally a term coined by a Group of Transvestites in New Orleans in the 1970's who had been refused treatment by Dr Harry Benjamin , the founder of WOATH, the correct term for person with gender dysphoria of gender identity disorder is Transsexual it's simply not a matter of semantics , A transsexual like myself has a recognised medical condition, which requires a diagnosis & treatment, it's not about a pronoun or an outward identity, it's completely binery , non political & lifelong.
The Transgender movement comes out of the 1990's queer left political movement ie Judith Butler etc , So called Trans as an identity is a misnomer, and the people who suffering because of this Trans Movement? Are genuine , Binery M2F & F2M not someone with a blue buzz cut who calls themselves a Zir
