    In Episode 19 of Universal Intimacy, I sit down with my dear friend, medicine keeper, and guide "Kate" for a heartfelt conversation about the power and potency of psychedelics in our healing journeys. Together, we explore the sacred landscape of plant medicines — including Ayahuasca, Iboga, and San Pedro — and the profound ways these ancient allies invite us into deeper connection with ourselves, each other, and the spiritual realms. This episode dives into the importance of ceremony and community, and why healing so often unfolds more fully when we are witnessed in group spaces. Kate shares wisdom from her years of working with plant medicines, illuminating how collective ceremony can create containers where vulnerability, transformation, and integration become possible. We reflect on the idea that to be witnessed is to be healed, and how shared altered states can dissolve isolation and remind us of our belonging.
