    Candy Bowers and The Art of Decolonisation

    www.havenlifestylephotography.com Candy Bowers is a South African woman born on Wurundjeri Country and is presenting a workshop on The Art of Decolonisation as part of the Melbourne Fringe. Candy presents the workshop along with the cast of The Fall – the story of the #RhodesMustFall movement that sought to bring down the statue of colonialist Cecil Rhodes, in protest of the white, Euro-centric cultural experience which dominated South African student life.     Ursula Yovich – actress, singer and playwright – talks about her career, discovering her voice, the creative process, and her work on Man With The Iron Neck. Ursula grew up in the Northern Teritory and is of Serbian and Aboriginal background.  As well as a Helpmann Award winner, she is also well-known for her TV roles in Redfern Now and Gods of Wheat Street.
