What makes for a good podcast these days?
Well. Imagine you have two options when attending a conference.
Option one: sit inside a stuffy auditorium listening to an intelligent, yet regrettably unimaginative academic read copious proes (complimented, of course, with a PowerPoint presentation).
Option two: ride shotgun for a day with a local host who - covering the same content as the stuffy auditorium presentation - instead, dips into various local hot spots for an embodied learning experience.
Vacilando is option two.
The podcast world is saturated with smart leaders sharing their wisdom. It’s great. But how many actually invite you into the passenger seat for the journey itself?
Step into Vacilando - as part of the audience on a learning journey, but also as a participant in a longitudinal study.
How do school principals connect in new environments? How do they steward their communities? What do we do about growing attrition rates?
I’m hopeful we’ll have some answers at the conclusion of this series - but the exciting part of Vacilando is we don’t actually know what this journey will look like at the end. The audience doesn’t know; the Principals don’t know; even hosts Michael and Dr Paul don’t know! (Actually Dr Paul probably does know).
BUCKLE UP FRIENDS, the journey has begun and we are on the move!
