Episode 124 - The Family Court Bombings Part 4

Episode 124 - The Family Court Bombings Part 4

In the 1970s, the entire institution of marriage in Australia was overhauled. Gone were the days where you had to prove your significant other was beating you, drinking you out of house and home, or just plain old cheating; now, the idea of a 'no-fault' divorce was introduced, and boy, did
    jump on it.

However, not everyone was happy. The brand new Family Court was seen as heavily favouring the women in the split in terms of money, property and custody, in spite of the husbands' wishes. Not
everyone backed down and took the decisions of the court; some went so far as to threaten the judges and the court itself for its role in their perceived downfall.

One man would go further than the rest, and act on his threats.

Join Holly and Matthew as they tackle the topic that most couples avoid - divorce - while following this piece of historic true crime to what feels like its inevitable conclusion - 40 years in the making.

Dark Eve Dawning ,

Great idea but frustrating!

Holly does an amazing job with her research, brilliantly covering some interesting and fun subjects and also other more horrific incidents in our history. Now Mathew on the other hand... I barely tolerate what comes across as uninformed mansplaining ! Ugh!!!

SIR DIGBY CHICKEN CEASER ,

Mr cruel

So many failings

Mr cruel was an SEC worker that worked the area and had the ability to sit on plain site like a sales rep you look after a territory.

He used his position to utilise sub Stations which was within 1km of every abduction site, that being said Nicola was dumped directly infront of a substation as was Karmeins body.

If you look at substations they are fortified sites that most likely have a minimum Crew on board through that time.

That’s my theory he worked the northern suburbs which was his territory and also he used electrical Tape and wire in his early victims until he became smarter.

Your lead conversation was rubbish just sayin

Highly recommended

I absolutely love Holly & Matt and their witty banter. Matt’s voices crack me up and I’m sure people look at me strangely while I’m LOL-ing walking down the street. It’s an easy to listen to podcast. Thanks guys! Love your work 😊
