Whimsy, Spice, and Sometimes Nice is a spoiler-free, read-along podcast for your favorite Romantasy books.  We wanted to create an engaging space for readers who want to ask questions, word vomit their thoughts, rave over their favorite spicy scenes, and rage over dumb decisions the FMC made without having to have completed the entire book, series, or universe. There are SO many great book podcasts and spaces out there, but what many of them are missing is a place to be when you're at the beginning or middle of your reading journey.  That's where we come in!  Hi new friend!!! We're your co-hosts, Madeline Rose and Josie Rae. We met in our sorority in college, and 11 years later, we still can't shut up about makeup, morally grey men, and our latest existential crisis. (Listen to the intro episode for more insight on us if you're curious, otherwise just hop right on over to episode one). While this podcast will cover all the basics you'd expect of a romantasy recap show (summary, chapter-by-chapter deep dive, and insights on world-building and character lore), we take it one step further by discussing how romantasy is shaping our real lives. What do these books teach us? Inspire us to do? Connect with others?  Then, we'll close each episode with our Whimsy and Spice Reports, predictions, and lotsssss of laughs.
