Following the CFMEU commission of inquiry, a new proposed Queensland construction code aims to completely replace the controversial Best Practice Industry Conditions (BPICT) that have long plagued the sector.

Civil Contractors Federation Queensland CEO Damian Long joined Ben Davis on 4BC Breakfast to warn that the code must be implemented immediately, or massive upcoming Olympic Games projects could miss out on these vital productivity-boosting reforms.
