So, let’s talk about longevity. Of course there are common signs of aging like wrinkles, gray hair, or loss of hearing. But these aren’t actually good indicators of how old someone is or how long they might live. I believe the best indicator to determine longevity is muscle strength. As a person ages, they lose muscle mass and strength. There is a strong association between the loss of muscle strength and mortality. The muscles that are affected first are the anterior thigh muscles (the quadriceps). One test that is used to determine if someone has sarcopenia (muscle atrophy) is the sit-to-stand time test or a chair-to-stand test. You can also try the hand grip strength test. The best ways to support longevity: 1. Take vitamin D 2. Do resistance-type exercise 3. Consume nutrient-dense foods 4. Do fasting 5. Keep your cortisol low 6. Improve your state of mind 7. Consume an adequate amount of quality protein 8. Take HMB (if you have sarcopenia) Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 57, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. The Best Fix for Dry and Wrinkled Skin

Find out about the best remedy for dry, wrinkled hands that can visibly improve your skin naturally. Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food) Just so you know, my full line of high-quality supplements is available on Amazon — search Dr. Berg Supplements. 0:00 Introduction: The best remedy for dry, wrinkled hands 0:12 The problem with most moisturizers 0:42 Natural remedies for dry skin 0:53 The best moisturizer for dry skin 4:15 Hyaluronic acid dosage for dry skin In this video, I’m going to share the #1 remedy for dry hands and dry skin. Most moisturizers contain alcohol, which dries and dehydrates your skin. Your moisturizer also gets absorbed into your skin, then into your bloodstream and liver. There are many natural dry skin remedies that can help, such as vitamin E, coconut oil, and tallow, but the best remedy for dry skin is hyaluronic acid. Many of your cells make hyaluronic acid, which is also found in your skin and joints. Hyaluronic acid holds 1000 times its weight in water and can keep your skin looking youthful. It’s intimately involved in wound repair and can repair skin after a sunburn. As we age, our hyaluronic acid decreases. There are also health conditions like progeria that cause you to lose hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid can be injected, used topically, or taken orally. When taken orally, 2.5% of hyaluronic acid is absorbed, which can be enough to replace what you lose as you age. To get rid of dry, wrinkled hands and skin, take 200 mg of hyaluronic acid daily. You can also use it topically. Look for hyaluronic acid without alcohol, wet your hands, and apply a couple of drops. Rub your hands together to apply. You can also do this to your face. Also, focus on internal health to get rid of dry skin. Try Healthy Keto® to keep your skin looking healthy. Find out about the best natural remedy for ADD/ADHD in adults and children. Research on this subject has been ignored for 70 years! William Kaufman MD PhD Link: https://isom.ca/profile/william-kaufman/ https://hull.ee/index.php/2021/03/02/taking-the-cure-the-pioneering-work-of-william-kaufman-arthritis-and-adhd/ 0:00 Introduction: The best natural remedy for ADD/ADHD 1:13 The benefits of vitamin B3 2:27 Vitamin B3 for ADD or ADHD symptoms 3:20 Niacinamide supplements In this video, we’re going to talk about some fascinating data from the research of Dr. William Kaufman, M.D. He found that niacinamide in high doses is an effective remedy for ADD (attention deficit disorder) or ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder). Vitamin B3 is the precursor for NAD, which helps your cells extract energy from food. When you eat, the NAD molecule helps take the electrons from your food and turn them into ATP for energy. Vitamin B3 helps your nerve cells get more energy. It may help decrease hyperactivity and increase focus at the same time! Nutrient deficiencies can cause the brain and nervous system to become hyperexcited. Niacinamide is a water-soluble version of vitamin B3 that can help energize your neurons and effectively mitigate ADD or ADHD symptoms. Because niacinamide is water-soluble, it doesn’t stay in the body long. This means you should take about 250 mg six to eight times per day. This can also be effective for ADD or ADHD in children. It’s also important to clean up your diet to help with the symptoms of ADD or ADHD. Niacinamide supplements cannot replace a healthy diet. Always check with your doctor before stopping your medications. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 59, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. In this video, we’re going to talk about early time-restricted eating. In my first book, I recommended that everyone should eat breakfast. In my second book, I removed that recommendation. After reviewing the research, I tried early time-restricted eating and I’m very impressed with the benefits. Early eating aligns with your circadian rhythm, so it can be beneficial to avoid eating after 3:00p.m. Here are 7 benefits of early time-restricted eating: 1. Better HOMA-IR (insulin sensitivity) 2. Better blood sugars 3. Better B-cell response 4. Lower appetite in the evening 5. Better insulin levels after eating 6. Autophagy 7. Food genes downgraded in the evening Biochemical pathways that are associated with eating and food are normally downgraded in the evening. Eating reactivates those food genes, which is why I'm experimenting with my eating pattern. I’m still fasting for 20 hours each day, I've just shifted my eating pattern from 9:00a.m.-1:00p.m! Cortisol spikes in the morning, causing you to become hungry. You don’t have a cortisol spike in the evening, so you’ll spend the rest of the day satisfied and simply not hungry. This leads to better digestion, better blood sugar, and better sleep. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, age 57, is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. Today I want to cover five nutritional deficiencies that can lead to depression. Your DNA can influence your mood and cause you to become susceptible to nutritional deficiencies, even if you’re on a fairly good diet. Vitamin deficiencies that may cause depression: 1. Vitamin B12 The best forms of vitamin B12: • Methylcobalamin • Hydroxy B12 2. Folate (vitamin B9) The best form of folate: • Methylfolate 3. Vitamin D3 4. Vitamin B1 (thiamine) 5. Zinc Try taking vitamin B12 and folate together and see if that gives you relief. If it doesn’t, you could move on to the other vitamins. It’s a good idea to try taking the last three vitamins one at a time, with a few days in between, rather than all at once. This way, you have a better idea of which one you could be deficient in.
