Best Bets NFL Week 1: Game Picks, 6 Leg Parlay, $500 TD Scorer

The early slate is a pile of 1 o’clock games and none of them are clean. Panthers are laying 2.5 in Atlanta, two 0-1 teams who already look tired of each other. Bears are 5.5-point home favorites over Minnesota after Chicago dropped 59 in Week 1 and the Vikings are dealing with Kyler in concussion protocol. Eagles at Titans is Philly -7 and a 39.5 total — Nashville as a hostage situation. Patriots are laying 5.5 to Pittsburgh. Packers are laying 4.5 at the Jets. Bucs are laying 8.5 to Cleveland. Ravens are laying 8.5 to the Saints. Texans are 2.5-point home favorites over Cincinnati a week after Buffalo just hung 36 on them in their own building. That’s eight games and about three you actually want to watch. The late window is where the board gets honest. Jaguars at Broncos is Denver -2.5 in the altitude. Chargers are laying 6.5 to Las Vegas. Cowboys are 4.5-point favorites over Washington after the Giants walked into MetLife last Sunday night and took their lunch. Seahawks are laying 4.5 in Arizona with Darnold’s status hanging over the whole thing. Then San Francisco is laying 13.5 to Miami because somebody had to be the biggest favorite on the board. Sunday night is the AFC doing AFC things. Colts at Chiefs. Kansas City -6.5. Total around 46.5. Arrowhead. Prime time. Indianapolis coming off a loss in Baltimore. Mahomes at home. No grace period. We give our pick for Colts–Chiefs, our same-game parlay, and two sneaky props to start the Sunday slate. Fourteen games. One night game. The season is actually here.Don’t take a single game for granted because somehow we’re going to blink and it’ll be Week 14. Best Bets College Football Week 3: Ole Miss-LSU, Louisville-SMU, Florida-Auburn, USC-Rutgers

Week 3 is here.  Noon is chaos. Georgia at Arkansas is Georgia -24.5. Wellness check. North Carolina at Clemson is Clemson -3.5, total 43.5. Both offenses have been allergic to chunk plays. USC lays 24.5 at Rutgers. Ohio State and Penn State are hostage situations. Don’t talk about them. Afternoon gets mean. SMU at Louisville is Louisville -1.5, total 59.5. FSU at Alabama is Bama -19.5. Florida at Auburn is Florida -2.5. New coaches. Somebody’s 2-0 dies in Jordan-Hare. Kentucky at Texas A&M and Miss State at South Carolina are the other SEC games people will pretend they had. Virginia -10.5 over West Virginia in Charlotte. Late window: Michigan State at Notre Dame is Irish -29.5. BYU at Colorado State and New Mexico at Oklahoma if you enjoy ranked teams not becoming a meme. Texas hosts UTSA because No. 1 still has to punch the clock. The actual game is 7:30 on ABC. No. 7 LSU at No. 8 Ole Miss. Kiffin back in Oxford after he left during a playoff run. LSU -3. Total around 59. Last six meetings: home team wins. Both 2-0. Chambliss at home. Leavitt on the visitors’ sideline. The Grove will not be polite. This is the only game that rearranges the SEC before October. Pick for LSU–Ole Miss, a same-game parlay, two sneaky props. One top-10 game. One stadium that wants a scalp.Don’t blink. It’ll be November.Drop your favorite Saturday bet in the comments. 🏈 Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Best Bets Thursday Night Football: Bills-Lions (Same Game Parlay, First TD Scorer, Player Props)

WE ARE SO BACK. 13 games on a Sunday. Who has it better than us? Lions at Bills. First regular-season game in the new $2.2 billion Highmark Stadium. Prime Video. 8:15. Both teams 1-0 after they refused to play defense in Week 1. Buffalo escaped Houston 36-31. Detroit needed overtime and a failed two-point try to beat New Orleans 31-30. Now they get four days and a short week on the road. Bills are a 4.5-point home favorite. Total sitting at 53.5 like somebody already decided this is going to look like the 48-42 game from 2024. Moneyline Buffalo around -225. Josh Allen just dropped 334 passing yards, two passing scores, two rushing scores, and a 96-yard winner. DJ Moore is in Buffalo now. James Cook is still James Cook. Joe Brady is in Year 1 as head coach and already has a road win in a house that used to haunt this franchise. Detroit is coming in without Kerby Joseph and Brian Branch (both PUP). The offensive line is a short-week problem: Christian Mahogany and Blake Miller have been DNP, Juice Scruggs limited, Cade Mays already on IR. Jahmyr Gibbs just touched the ball 34 times and ran for 156 and two scores. Jared Goff still has Amon-Ra and Jameson. Dan Campbell is asking that group to fly east, play in a brand-new stadium full of people who have been waiting years for this building, and cover 4.5 after overtime. That is the spot. This is the points game of the week because both defenses just gave up 30-plus and neither secondary is whole. Buffalo’s new place opens with fireworks or it opens with a hangover. There is no third option. We give our pick for Bills–Lions, our same-game parlay, and two sneaky props to start the Thursday slate. No more Week 1 film-room cope. No more “it’s only one game.” One night. New stadium. The season is actually loud now. Don’t take a single snap for granted because somehow we’re going to blink and it’ll be December and this building will already feel old. Best Bets Monday Night Football: Chiefs vs Broncos

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL IS BACK. And apparently the NFL decided Patrick Mahomes’ first game back should be against the team that stole his division. The Broncos walk into Arrowhead on Monday night as the defending AFC West champs after going 14-3, taking the No. 1 seed, and sweeping Kansas City for the first time since 2014. Denver has now won four of the last five against the Chiefs. Kansas City went 6-11, missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014, and watched its nine-year run atop the AFC West officially die. Now everybody gets a clean slate. And Patrick Mahomes is back. Nine months after tearing his ACL and LCL, Mahomes has been a full participant in practice and is on track to start under the lights at Arrowhead. Kansas City added Kenneth Walker III, brought L’Jarius Sneed back, and gets Rashee Rice and Xavier Worthy into Week 1 as full practice participants. The problem: starting left tackle Josh Simmons hasn’t practiced, meaning an already terrifying Denver pass rush could spend Monday night staring at an inexperienced replacement protecting Mahomes’ blind side. On the other side, Denver basically brought everybody back. Bo Nix returns healthy. Jaylen Waddle makes his Broncos debut. Denver returns 21 of 22 starters from a team that won 14 games, and the defense is coming off a season in which it piled up 68 sacks. Sean Payton is also 3-0 on Monday Night Football since taking over in Denver. 8:15 p.m. ET. ESPN and ABC. Arrowhead. AFC West champs against the team that owned the division for nearly a decade. Mahomes’ comeback against one of the nastiest defenses in football. Bo Nix trying to prove last year wasn’t a one-off. Kansas City is laying about 2.5 with the total sitting around 43.5. One possession. Divisional game. Week 1. We give our pick for Broncos–Chiefs, our same-game parlay, and two sneaky props to close out the first week of the NFL season. No more preseason reports. No more “he looks great in camp.” Patrick Mahomes is back. The Broncos have the crown. And somebody has to leave Arrowhead 0-1. Don’t take Monday Night Football for granted because somehow we’re going to blink and it’ll be Thanksgiving. Best Bets NFL Week 1: Game Picks, 6 Leg Parlay, $500 TD Scorer

WE ARE SO BACK. 13 games on a Sunday. Who has it better than us? The early slate is chaos with a 1 p.m. start time. Bills at Texans is the game. Josh Allen on the road against the defense that has made his life miserable, Buffalo a field-goal favorite, total sitting around 44.5. Lamar and first-year coach Jesse Minter open at Indianapolis as 3.5-point road favorites. Bucs at Bengals is the points game — Cincinnati -3.5, total 50.5. Lions host the Saints as a touchdown favorite. Steelers get Atlanta. Jaguars are laying eight and a half to Cleveland. Jets-Titans is a 38.5-total hostage situation in Nashville. Bears at Panthers exists so someone can lose Week 1 in Carolina. Then the late window gets mean. Packers at Vikings is a one-and-a-half-point home favorite for Minnesota because Green Bay is missing Micah Parsons and Josh Jacobs is on the commissioner’s exempt list. Kyler Murray’s first start as a Viking. Jordan Love still has to go play. Commanders at Eagles is Philly -5.5 after they traded A.J. Brown to New England and handed the offense to Sean Mannion. Jayden Daniels walks into the Linc without Laremy Tunsil. Chargers are laying 9.5 to Arizona because somebody had to be the biggest favorite on the board. Dolphins at Raiders is the other 4:25 game if you enjoy suffering. Sunday night is the NFC East doing NFC East things. Cowboys at Giants. Dallas -3. Total around 48.5. John Harbaugh’s first game in New York. Jaxson Dart under center. Malik Nabers is supposed to play. The Cowboys have won 16 of the last 18 in this series. The Giants have not won a home opener since 2010. MetLife. Prime time. No grace period. We give our pick for Cowboys–Giants, our same-game parlay, and two sneaky props to start the Sunday slate. Best Bets College Football Week 2: Texas-Ohio State, Oklahoma-Michigan, Alabama-UK, Arkansas-Utah

COLLEGE FOOTBALL WEEK 2 IS HERE. Week 1 was cupcakes, extra seconds, and a Hail Mary nobody asked for. Saturday is the first weekend that actually matters. The schedule makers put No. 1 Ohio State on a plane to Austin to play No. 4 Texas in a rematch of last year’s 14-7 slog in Columbus. College GameDay is on the lawn of the LBJ Library. ABC’s A-team is in the booth. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m. ET. Two brands. Two Heisman quarterbacks. One field that has not hosted a top-five visitor like this in a generation. Julian Sayin and Jeremiah Smith walked through Ball State 56-3. Arch Manning, Ryan Wingo, and Cam Coleman dropped 59 on Texas State. Last year Manning got swallowed in the Horseshoe and Texas spent the rest of the season climbing out of a 0-1 hole. This time the Longhorns are home, they’re a tiny favorite, and the line opened Texas -1.5 with the total sitting around 49.5. One possession. First real CFP resume stamp of the year. Lose this and you already used one of your mulligans. Before that, noon on FOX: No. 11 Oklahoma at Michigan. The Sooners crushed UTEP 51-0 and brought the defense to Ann Arbor. Michigan just survived Western Michigan 13-12 because somebody put one second back on the clock and Bryce Underwood found JJ Buchanan on a 47-yard prayer. Kyle Whittingham’s debut. The MAC appealed. The NCAA said no. The line has already sprinted to Oklahoma -5.5. Total around 43.5. Michigan is still unranked in the AP. The Big House is loud and extremely on edge. Then 3:30 on ABC: No. 12 Alabama at Kentucky. Kalen DeBoer’s Tide opened with 48-10 over East Carolina. Will Stein’s first real test in Lexington after 45-13 over Youngstown State. Alabama owns this series. The Wildcats are getting 10 and a half at home with the total near 49. SEC Nation in town. First-year coach. First SEC Saturday. History says Alabama. The points say maybe not that easy.We give our pick for Ohio State–Texas, our same-game parlay, and two sneaky props to start the weekend. No more “just get healthy.” No more pretending Week 1 told us everything. Saturday is Austin at night and Ann Arbor at noon and Lexington in the afternoon. Don’t take a single game for granted because somehow we’re going to blink and it’ll be rivalry week. Best Bets Thursday Night Football: 49ers-Rams

FOOTBALL IS BACK. The 2026 NFL season is officially here, and the schedule makers decided a Super Bowl rematch on Wednesday wasn’t enough chaos. Night two is an NFC West blood feud on the other side of the planet. We’re getting the Rams and 49ers at the Melbourne Cricket Ground — the first regular-season NFL game in Australia — Thursday at 8:35 p.m. ET on Netflix. More than 100,000 people packed into a cricket stadium to watch Sean McVay vs. Kyle Shanahan for the millionth time. Neutral field. Fifteen-hour flights. Friday morning kickoff local time. No warm-up. No SoFi. No Levi’s. Just two 12-5 teams who both got run over by Seattle in the playoffs last year, opening the season 8,000 miles from home. The Rams get to walk in as Super Bowl favorites. Reigning MVP Matthew Stafford has Puka Nacua, Davante Adams, and Kyren Williams. Myles Garrett makes his Rams debut. The defense got rebuilt on purpose. The one thing they do not have Thursday: Aaron Donald. He came out of retirement, signed, and then did not get on the plane. Shanahan said he’s never been more excited to be wrong. San Francisco is trying to start Year 10 under Shanahan with Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey, plus Mike Evans in the building. Nick Bosa and George Kittle made the trip after the ACL and Achilles, but nobody knows how many snaps they actually get. Alfred Collins, the guy who forced that goal-line fumble against L.A. last year, tore his patellar tendon in Melbourne this week and is done for the season. Ricky Pearsall is already gone for the year. Last time these two played, the Rams dropped 42 on San Francisco in Santa Clara. The line opened Rams -2.5 and has been bet up to about a field goal and a half. Total sits around 48.5. L.A. is trying to look like a dynasty before Week 1 even starts. The 49ers have had extra days on the ground Down Under while the Rams landed late. And we get all of it on NIGHT TWO, on Netflix, in a stadium that has never seen an NFL snap. We give our pick for the game, our same-game parlay, and our two sneaky props to start the season. We have waited seven months for this. No more preseason. No more depth-chart arguments. No more pretending we care about training camp clips. The NFL is officially back — and it opened in Seattle last night and continues in Australia tomorrow. Don’t take a single game for granted because somehow we’re going to blink and it’ll be Week 14. Drop your favorite bet for Rams–49ers in the comments. 🏈 00:00 - Intro & Welcome 00:21 - Niners vs. Rams in Australia 08:09 - Game Pick 09:40 - Same Game Parlay (4-Leg, +400) 16:00 - BetMGM Ad Break 16:26 - Sketchy Prop 19:35 - First Touchdown Scorer 22:49 - Sign-Off Learn more about your ad choices.
