Tim Conway Jr. was born and raised in Los Angeles and is the son of iconic comedy legend Tim Conway of The Carol Burnett Show. He spent his childhood around Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar Racetracks with his father, four younger brothers, and older sister — experiences that helped shape his humor, storytelling, and down-to-earth perspective on life. During his early career, Conway produced his own internet radio show and, thanks to its popularity, was offered the opportunity to host a talk show on 97.1 KLSX-FM. Over twelve successful years, his show became famous across Southern California for entertaining topics, live police chases, Hollywood craziness, pop culture, sports, and current events with a twist of humor. In 2009, when KLSX switched to an all-music format, Conway joined KFI AM 640, continuing to bring listeners his unique comedic perspective on breaking news, politics, gambling, history, sports, entertainment, and life in SoCal. Throughout his career, Conway has been featured on Fox 11, CBS, NBC, and ABC, and has received numerous industry honors including a Golden Mic Award, an Edward R. Murrow Award, and a Marconi Award nomination for Personality of the Year.     Pineapple Hill Saloon & Grill Fights Eviction

    Hour 1 (9.09) Eight Dana Point homes red-tagged, one already in the ocean, 75 yards of beach gone. In Sherman Oaks, In-N-Out keeps its lease. Pineapple Hill got 60 days. (155 characters) 6:05 — Football is back, which is the only good news in a day like this one. It's 108 in the Valley, Timmy's wife clocked 114 in the car, and a brush fire broke out along the 405 in the Sepulveda Pass just after 4:15. It closed the Getty Center and put Brentwood and Bel-Air under evacuation warnings. 6:20 — The fire — now called the Getty Fire — burned about 25 acres before crews stopped its forward progress. And Delta 2311 out of LAX never made Salt Lake City: the masks dropped over the Mojave, the 737 went from 36,000 feet to 9,000 in about ten minutes, and 181 people ended up in Las Vegas instead. 6:35 — Pineapple Hill Saloon & Grill has been pouring at 4454 Van Nuys Blvd since 1978. Angela Marsden got a 60-day notice to vacate on August 6 for a redevelopment — and the In-N-Out on the same lot has been told it can stay. She was promised her lease back after construction.     Santa Anita Pauses Olympic Oak Removal

    Hour 3 (9.09) Santa Anita pulled its permit to cut 34 protected oaks for the 2028 Olympic course. Plus: Barry Melrose, who took the Gretzky Kings to the Cup Final, dead at 70. (161 characters) 8:05 — A 25-year-old was arrested Monday night near Kris Jenner's place after her private security stopped him in the neighborhood. Deputies booked him on suspicion of stalking; he's charged with one misdemeanor count of trespassing. And in Torrance, 499 condo owners each got a bill for more than $49,000 to cover $19 million in re-piping, elevators and a full podium rebuild. 8:20 — Barry Melrose has died at 70. The mullet, the suits, twenty-seven years at ESPN — but in this town he's the guy who walked in as a rookie head coach in 1992 and took Gretzky's Kings to the franchise's first Stanley Cup Final. 8:35 — Malibu declared a local emergency after a sinkhole roughly 30 by 60 feet and 25 to 30 feet deep opened in a driveway on Sea Level Drive. Down in Dana Point, eight homes on Beach Road are red-tagged and one has already been demolished. Meanwhile Santa Anita has hit pause on its permit to remove 34 protected oaks for the Olympic cross-country course, and LADOT wants to cut Sunset down to one lane each way from Silver Lake to downtown. 8:50 — The humidity is the whole story.     Hour 1 (9.08)  Powerful surf from Marie forced evacuations along the Long Beach Peninsula and threatened beachfront homes in Dana Point as Southern California braced for another round of high tides. Tim also looks ahead to a heat spike after the holiday weekend and shares a Las Vegas gambling mishap.  6:05 PM Powerful waves generated by Marie battered Southern California's coastline, damaging beachfront homes in Dana Point and creating dangerous conditions from Orange County to Malibu. Officials warned residents and beachgoers to prepare for more high surf and coastal flooding.   6:20 PM Tim breaks down the evening high tides expected in Dana Point, Seal Beach, Long Beach, and Malibu. In Long Beach, residents of roughly 20 homes along the Peninsula were ordered to evacuate as waves overtopped defenses and damaged portions of the boardwalk.   6:35 PM After an unusually wet Labor Day weekend, forecasts pointed to a rapid warmup with hot and humid conditions returning midweek.
