Despite enduring unimaginable hardship, she remained steadfast, and she lived a life that reflected remarkable strength and resilience. As we learn Maseches Chullin, we encounter discussions of creatures that have suffered injury or trauma, yet are still deemed halachically whole. That idea can serve as a reminder that the hardships we endure need not define us or diminish our essential selves. Sarah's life was a testament to that truth: though she experienced profound trauma, she emerged with her dignity, identity, and neshama intact. May the study of today's daf be an aliyah for her neshama, and may her memory be for a bracha and a nechama to her family and to all who knew her.
