I haven’t been able to listen to anything else

I decided to give podcasts a try and started with The Magnus Archives. Now it set the bar so high for me I’m afraid of not finding anything else that gives me the rush of adrenaline and the stimulus to go after answers and build up my own hypothesis.

Jonny Sims is an amazing storyteller, both in his writing and in his acting, and he found his way into my top 10 role models of storytelling, along with a select group of screenwriters/showrunners/writers that touched me in one way or another.

I pressed play on the first episode and haven’t stopped listening to them in a week, desperately trying to catch up before I end up finding spoilers in my frantic searches.

If you like well-written horror and stories that touch subjects that go deeper than just a few jumpscares, you found it. Give it a go.

I guarantee you won’t be the same afterwards.

One hecking great podcast

As someone who listens to many horror podcasts: magnus archives has one of the best narrators out there, he turns the great writing into something even more haunting and memorable 👏👏👏
