Beginning as a professional dirt bike rider, transitioning to a truck driver role at UPS, pursuing an undergraduate degree at 26, and then becoming VP of distribution McLane Mid Atlantic, his trajectory is unique.     I was profoundly impressed upon meeting Filmore Thomas IV, a remarkable individual who boasts dual Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science and Statistics from Fort Valley State University. After graduating he worked for Apple for a couple of years and now has transitioned to working at a non-profit in New York. His intellectual prowess continues to thrive, as he is now preparing to embark on a journey at Berkeley’s law school. His story of ongoing achievement is truly inspiring.     Episode 2: Kai Akinloye-Brown

    My friend, Kai Akinloye-Brown, is a prime example of someone who is ardently pursuing her passions in life. I've had the privilege to witness her journey of growth and dedication, as she fervently chases her dreams. This pursuit of passion has recently led her to an exciting path of professional modeling, having been signed on by a notable modeling agency. But modeling isn't her only forte. Kai's thirst for knowledge and relentless drive have also earned her impressive academic credentials. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the esteemed Tuskegee University, as well as a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University. Kai's story, in my view, is a powerful testament to the importance of pursuing what you truly love, regardless of your current life stage. It is a reminder that it's never too late to chase your dreams or to develop multiple interests. I hope her journey inspires you as much as it has inspired me.

    Episode 1: Coleman Dumas IV - Working at Tesla, Trials and Tribulations & Resiliency

    Coleman Dumas IV is one of my closest friends. I’ve gotten a chance to witness him turn struggle into triumph. He’s currently working at his dream job which is at Tesla as a New Product Introduction Engineer at their Megapack factory in California. The path there wasn’t linear though he had to jump over many barriers to reach this moment. I hope you enjoy listening to his process, and I hope it motivates you like it has motivated me.
