Magic Round is behind us and if it is possible to be all out of rugby league, we are out. It is a true festival of rugby league and Brisbane is the perfect city! The boys reflect on a cracking weekend of not only good times but some great games footy, only the one blowout all weekend so good for the neutral fans. Heartbreak for Hawthorn in the AFL, how do you lose a game up by 11 with 24 seconds left! It was a long trip west for the Melbourne Demons going to the Harley Reid show. We recap the Fury-Usyk fight as well as give Jai Opetaia his credit for becoming a world champion at Cruiserweight. Zakiah calls in with his motorsport recap and does not miss a couple of former team mates of his from back in his carting days! Wowee. The one and only Cameron Lowry from the Alpha Blokes Podcast joins The Reggies on the bar ahead of magic round this weekend. A bit of Oxy and Acetylene mixture between G1 and Laz its a great listen. Magic round is here this weekend and the reggies cannot f****n wait! After more controversy in the NRL surrounding the officiating lets hope we get a nice smooth run at magic round and let the footy do the talking instead of the refereeing decisions. A draw in the crows game? Could not make this stuff up. Tommy not happy and where is the extra time he says? Controversial decisions in boxing? You wouldn’t read about it would ya! We look back at the Kambosis v Lomachenko card and look ahead to Fury v Usyk for all the heavyweight belts this Sunday morning Australian time. The motorsport recap is an absolute pisser, whether it was good or not is up to the reggies. A couple of huge shout outs to the community for some quality work getting put in the RRLC, captain of the week was the easiest decision of all time this week, and squeeze wasn’t far behind in terms of an easy pick. Group 1 racing continues at Morphettville with the Goodwood being run over 1200m to wrap up their carnival. J-Mac heads to the sunny coast ahead of the Brisbane winter carnival major days about to commence. The old boys are firing, B1 and B2 are trying their hardest to lift, this is the week! Another weekend in the bin, another weekend wondering why we didn’t get a perfect round in the tips. Loads to discuss in the footy worlds with suspensions, injuries and upsets in both codes. It looks like a round for making up some ground this week if you are behind in the tipping comp! A heap of games that could go either way so is this the week? Some classic games of AFL last weekend, had to feel for Pedro after he was at the MCG for the Carlton/Collingwood game. The Gabba turned into an emergency room at one stage with 4 major injuries occurring, forcing a Reggies player onto the field! Heaps of boxing chat with cards last weekend featuring Canelo, mid week cards in Japan, Ferocious Kambosis this weekend and a potential Tim Tszyu fight lined up for August in LA. The captain of the week is an RRLC member who absolutely deserves every bit of it after his dedication was shown during the week. The motorsport segment was a absolute belter after the resident correspondent phoned in with a beautiful recap. After slim pickings last week on the Karmichael we are looking to bounce back and bounce back hard! The listeners bet got up after they went for the Reggies quadrella and backed Quin the chin, Jace, Tommy and Groper all to win their fights on the weekend. B1 and B2 are in serious need of a turn around in form or they might find themselves on the bench. We look ahead to the South Australian Derby this weekend as the late season 3 year old’s look to claim a group 1, and racing heats up in QLD as they start the winter carnival. Plenty of footy SGM getting around as usual, can T.Dahl finally land one or will he be holed again?
