The Rundown

This is a great podcast. It summarizes markets well, the presenter is fun and engaging. So, it is great, except for the new interview format on Sundays. I point out three reasons: 1) The interviews are very slow paced, questions seem too rehearsed and there is little back and forth, so the interviews do not feel engaging at all and the pace is very different than the other kind of episodes. The format is new, so there is an understandable learning curve. 2) Audio from the interviewees is often not great. It’s probably studio quality on one side and a teleconference app on the other, so understandable as well. 3) It has been mono thematic. It seems all interviews are about AI, and this is a bit frustrating. I understand AI is driving the markets right now, but personally I think the focus on this theme is making the interviews too repetitive and it’s wearing out rather quickly. I hope this is seen as good constructive input. Zaid is an amazing host and this podcast is totally worth it. 5 stars all the way! Cheers from Brazil.
