History is full of stories we think we know. They are old and dark, but time has robbed us of perspective and clarity. They've become obscured and misunderstood. Which is why this series exists: to dig deep and shed light on some of history’s darkest moments. To help us better understand where we’ve come from. To make it Unobscured. Each season pairs narrative storytelling from Aaron Mahnke, creator of the hit podcast Lore, with prominent historian interviews. Season Four: Grigori Rasputin

What you would expect from Aaron Mahnke and more!

It’s so great to find someone who’s entirely invested into what they love and share their passion with the world, and that’s what you get in this podcast, yet again, from Aaron Mahnke. It’s fascinating, bizarre and well-developed just as the listeners of Lore know and love, and it’ll always leave you wanting more... I usually listen to this at the gym or on my way to work and there were moments were his descriptions or the interviewees’ were so precise that I was able to envision myself in Salem watching the trials from up close. Absolutely fantastic.
