    Buffalo Bills 2026 Full Mock Draft (Version 1.0)

    On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran (finally) gets around to conducting his first Buffalo Bills 2026 full mock draft just two weeks before the actual NFL draft takes place. Trades were on the table but none were consummated. As with the past several years, Patrick enjoys doing these mock drafts but not for the prediction accurate aspect.  Doing them often enough allows you to learn about more prospects, develop trends and strategies that play out in real time and speaking of----things happen one selection before Patrick's on the clock for the Bills that throws things off for him and leaves him scrambling for a backup plan. Patrick admits to also having a plan with the Bills No. 91 selection that goes astray when a pair of defensive lineman go off the board before he's on the clock, at least one of them unexpected.     Top 10 Realistic Bills First Round Wish List

Going on the premise that the prospect must be realistic for the Bills, allowing no more than a three-team trade up to land him, Patrick goes over his list by counting down from No. 10 to his top choice.     Live Reaction From Sabres HUGE Win Over Tampa (Plus Bills Talk)

    On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Chris Mazella from the Step Brothers Sports Podcast just moments after the Buffalo Sabres picked up a huge win Monday nighit over tghe Tampa Bay Lightning in addition to some Buffalo Bills talk. The Sabres needed to a victory over Tampa in regulation to keep a strong chance of winning the Atlantic Division on the table, and that's exactly what they did. The guys talk about another strong UPL performance, critically needed offensive production from Alex Tuch, Josh Norris and Jason Zucker as well as a third line defensive pairing that felt questionable before the game but got the job done. Also, if the Sabres don't win the division would you rather face Tampa or Montreal in the first round if you're Buffalo? Patrick's surprised to arrive at Tampa but styles make fights and for a handful of reasons Buffalo simply matches up well against the Lightning. On the Bills side, Patrick wants to know from Chris what he's liked the most---and least so far among the Bills offseason activity.     What Do You Still Want For The Bills?

    Plenty To Chew On From Bills/NFL League Meetings

    On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Matt Warren from SB Nation to react to plenty of noteworthy Buffalo Bills items stemming from the NFL Meetings in Phoenix, Arizona this week. Bills general manager spoke to the media on Monday and shortly thereafter made an appearance on Pat MacAfee.  There's plenty for the guys to react from among things Beane discussed, including the Bills officially exercising the fifth-year option on Dalton Kincaid's contract, ensuring the tight end will be here for at least two more years and with a guaranteed $8.1 million salary for 2027. Do the guys agree this move was a no brainer? Also, even after trading for DJ Moore, Beane said that potentially taking a wide receiver in the first round of the draft with the 26th pick was still on the table. He also said that he's had conversations with free agent wide receiver Brandin Cooks but the team and Cooks will both likely to see how the draft for Buffalo and other teams fall before either makes a decision about him possibly coming back. Beane also talked about cornerback Dorian Strong now in the recovery phrase of a neck surgery that has his playing future uncertain. That plus Beane's thoughts on a potential 18-game NFL season in the near future, where the guys are at right now when it comes to the draft and much more.     Some Late Season Concerns Creep In With Sabres

    On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by blogger and podcast Chris Ostrander to discuss a handful of Buffalo Sabres and Bills topics, including a few fixable but nonetheless late season issues creeping into the Sabres as they get ready to embark on a playoff run soon. Just saying the Sabres are readying to embark on a playoff run is amazing given where this team was at in early December not to mention the previous 14 seasons. They're not exactly "struggling" either as the season winds down but in the interest of staying objective, there's a handful of things going on that could be concerning. The guys discuss some, including the third line defense that seems significantly worse without Zach Metsa in the lineup, some leaky goaltending from Alex Lyon, a handful of offensive players struggling a little bit and penalty kill unit that's gotten destroyed two times in the past eight days. Also, Chris is asked which team is closer to winning a championship right now--the Sabres or Bills? Speaking of the Bills they're discussed too and Patrick explains why he's starting to very much get behind taking a wide receiver with their first round pick.     Ranking Brandon Beane's Free Agent Classes

    On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens to discuss several Buffalo Bills topics, including evaluating each of Brandon Beane's free agent classes since becoming GM of the team in 2018. While not a fan of Beane in general, Joe has confessed to liking what the Bills have done so far since free agent season began earlier this month. It got the guys wondering and then researching of  Beane's offseason classes and where this one stacks up. Also, the Bills re-signed Damar Hamlin this week and a few sarcastic tweets from Patrick set off a firestorm of criticism from the Damar truthers. Patrick responds to all of it.
