Stefan Heck & John Cullen
Blocked Party

Twitter Genius/Idiot Stefan Heck and comedian John Cullen invite guests on the program to talk about the who and the how of getting blocked on social media. From celebrities to jilted ex-lovers, every block has a story and we’re here to get to the bottom of it.

    Bryan Quinby v. His Brother-in-Law

We are LIVE from the Biltmore Cabaret with the FINAL main episode of Blocked Party EVER, and Bryan is here to tell us all about how he had to block his brother-in-law for being a flat-earther. And that's not the only strange Bryan story we get on the episode (obviously), as he fills us in on his overall disdain for nature because mountains don't sing or play music and his penchant for pissing in the drain in the laundry room in his basement. And of course, because it is the last main episode of the show, Stefan graces us with an insane Joey compilation to really bring it on home. Plus, Bryan gets taken to a card show in Vancouver by Stefan where he wins a big prize, Stefan finds a truly unbelievable Rule 34, and someone craps themselves at a Godspeed You! Black Emperor concert. While this is the final main episode of the show (we will also be doing a retrospective episode in the coming weeks but this is the last one in the "BP Format"), the Patreon will continue to live on with all your favorite bonus episode content. We'll continue to do THREE NEW bonus episodes every single month, while the entire back catalogue will also remain available and you get access to all of it the second you sign up. It's well over 150 episodes at this point, and if you want to hear John and Stefan together, our Patreon will be the only place to do it in the coming months before the new show launches sometime in 2025. So head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, donate to the show, and stay with us as we head into this new chapter. Bryan Quinby is a podcaster whose podcast "Guys: A Podcast About Guys" is available wherever you get your pods. You can follow him on Twitter at @murderxbryan. This episode will also be available in video format on our YouTube, though it may take a few days since it was recorded live at the Biltmore as well. Learn more about your ad choices. Demi Lardner and Tom Walker v. Demi's Mom's Boss

As the main show winds down, you KNOW we had to get our friends Tom Walker and Demi Lardner (bigsofttitty.png) back on the show. So we did! And Demi has a very funny Block Tale about getting her number pre-emptively blocked by her mom's boss (chef) who overhears Demi on the phone saying to her mom she's going to harass the chef. It's great. The episode is great too, as we discuss John and Stefan's asses, cold is bad for lizard brain, Australian life, meeting up at TwitchCon, and Indiana Jones. Plus, Tom keeps us up to date on the Magic: The Gathering community, Demi talks The Great Khali, a Republican candidate rented a family for photos, and the Sum 41 guy has a really tall wife. If you want all killer, no filler, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month! Last week, Joshua Custodio interviewed us about the conclusion of Blocked Party, and lots of people have said very nice things about the episode, so make sure to check it out. And next up, it's the first-ever live Word Up! show, which you won't wanna miss. Plus: ad-free episodes, an exclusive Discord, and MORE! Speaking of the live show, it's this weekend! Friday and Saturday. Us, Guys, Not Even a Show. Get your last-minute tickets NOW at bit.ly/top3weekend. Tom and Demi are very funny and host a podcast called bigsofttitty.png, available now wherever you get your pods. This show is also available in video format on our YouTube. Alex Goldman v. Eric Conn

Alex Goldman (podcaster) returns to the show to tell us about a block he picked up from weird conservative guy Eric Conn, host of the "Hard Men" podcast, for uhh...pointing out that's a strange name for a podcast if you're a guy who presents as an alpha. Our podcast is strange too, as we discuss the TwitchCon cheating scandal, podcast conventions, recording while under the weather, and Bryan's list of best bodily functions. Plus, Alex fills us in on Gamergate 2, John enjoys a throwback funny sports tweet, and we get a clip of Elon Musk talking about hosting SNL that Stefan deems "the worst video to ever be played on Blocked Party", which is an extremely high bar. If you want to see some other horrible videos, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month! Some of which we watch horrible videos in! But others, like this week's, are much more fun, as our friend Josh Custodio pitched us on the idea of an interview about the history of Blocked Party as we near the main feed's end. It was a great time! We also have ad-free episodes, an exclusive Discord, and MORE! Also, a reminder that we are going LIVE in a few weeks! On October 11th and 12th, we'll be doing 4 shows over 2 nights at Vancouver's Biltmore Cabaret with our good pals Bryan Quinby and Chris James from Guys and Not Even a Show! Individual show tickets and weekend passes are available now at bit.ly/top3weekend. See you there! Alex Goldman is a podcaster whose brand-new podcast, Hyperfixed, is out NOW, wherever you get your pods. You can also hear him on Western Kabuki, one of our favorite shows, and you can follow him on Twitter at @agoldmund. This episode is also available in video format on our YouTube. Adam Christie v. A Genie

Adam Christie (comedian) is back and not a moment too soon, as he has strangely encountered a lot of genies (?) over the last few months, and needs our help sorting through it all. We sort through a lot of things on this episode, as we discuss the new Beetlejuice Fanta, Star Wars Pepsi, the milk cartons that mooed, working at Blockbuster as a movie snob, and Kirk Cousins' weird jar of stones. Plus, AutoTune the News makes a triumphant (?) return with an assist from Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Stefan checks in on a QAnon account, and there's a Jeopardy! anecdote so insane that John has to have it cross over onto a BP episode. If you want to hear a bunch more crossover episodes with tons of great guests, head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month will get you THREE bonus episodes every single month! Last week, our good friend Luke Taylor joined the show to discuss the Canadian CGI animation show ReBoot, and it was a grand old time. We also have ad-free episodes, an exclusive Discord, merch discounts, and when the show's main episodes end in a few weeks, the only place to find us will be on Patreon! So join now! Jamie Loftus v. A Podcast Listener

Jamie Loftus (comedian) is BACK and faces a problem that a lot of us do in the podcasting world: having a reply guy that lets you know every week why they're not going to listen to your show anymore, and trying not to let it get to you. Thankfully for Jamie, she catches a block and doesn't have to deal with this particular person anymore. There's a lot of stuff we don't wanna deal with this week as we discuss undecided voters, nepo babies, and we go really deep on Bugaboo Creek, a Canadian-ish themed restaurant with animatronic animals that Jamie loved as a kid. Plus, Jamie hates the new Twitter algorithm, Donald Trump says yet another insane thing, and Elon Musk sets a new precedent with what is probably the worst tweet of all-time. If you want to hear about more of the worst tweets, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where we talk about a bunch of them! For just $5, you'll get THREE new bonus episodes every single month PLUS you'll get access to our entire back catalogue of over 150 episodes. It's the best! Last week, Becca rejoined the show for a mailbag episode and coming up this week, our good friend Luke Taylor joined us to discuss Canadian CGI cartoon ReBoot. You won't wanna miss it! We also have a Discord, merch discounts, ad-free episodes, and MORE so check it out! And a reminder we are going LIVE with Top Three Weekend II, October 11th and 12th at the Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver, BC. Our friends at Guys and Not Even a Show are going to join us for 4 shows over two nights, and it's gonna be a blast. Weekend passes and individual show tickets are available now at bit.ly/top3weekend. See you there! Jamie Loftus is a comedian, author, and podcaster, whose latest project, Sixteenth Minute, is available now wherever you get your pods. You can also follow her on Instagram at @jamiechristsuperstar. Chris Locke v. TizzyEnt

Chris Locke (comedian) returns to the show to tell us about hitting his breaking point with TizzyEnt, one of those annoying amalgamators who explains a viral video in a flat monotone for 30 seconds before showing said viral video. He sucks, and we block his ass! And there's a lot of ass talk on this episode because...obviously. It's a Chris Locke episode. We go wild. We discuss Meghan Trainor's side-by-side toilets, hold music, Chris' Edinburgh Fringe Festival experience, bidets, and the Spider-Man musical. Plus, Chris is annoyed at having to do lots of promo, Stefan is annoyed at Dr. Disrespect's "comeback", and past guest Justine Stafford shares a wild rejection story from Edinburgh on her own pod that John couldn't help but sympathize with. If you want more way more rejection stories, you can head on over to our Patreon and donate to the dang show! For just $5/month, you'll get access to our entire back catalogue PLUS THREE new bonus episodes every month over at patreon.com/blockedparty. This week, Becca joins the show once again to answer YOUR listener questions in our first new Blocked Bag in a few months after we finally cleaned the damn thing out. And it's already dirty again! We also have ad-free episodes, a great Discord, and plenty more, so help us out and donate today! A reminder that individual show tickets for our live shows coming up this October 11 and 12 at the Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver will be going on sale THIS WEDNESDAY, 9/11, at 10 am PT. Only wanna catch a show or two? This is the way to do it! It'll be us, Guys, and Not Even a Show for 4 shows over two nights, and it'll be the FINAL Blocked Party episode EVER! Well, at least regular episode. It'll be historical and we hope you'll be there to join us for what should be a magical night. Weekend passes are available now at bit.ly/top3weekend, and individual show tickets will be available there too. Chris Locke is a comedian whose podcast, Evil Men, is available wherever you get your pods. He also stars in a great new comedy movie called "Who's Yer Father?" that you should check out now on Paramount Plus. You can follow him on Instagram at @chrislockefun. Amar Singh v. Andy Elliott

Amar Singh (comedian) makes his first appearance on the show to tell us about a time when self-help just went way, way too far and he had to do some blocking to take care of it. Amar is a comedian, but perhaps more importantly, he is John's former student. So we talk to Amar about being in John's class and getting John to book him his first stand-up gig, which has now led to a career in comedy, for better or worse. We also discuss Amar struggling to find a job due to AI, which of course leads Stefan to create some AI Yodas and also show us a nasty picture he found of a really big Nintendo fan. Plus, Amar also loves the sad cat videos we discussed with Libby Watson on our most recent bonus episode, and the Oasis reunion has us revisiting some of their funniest moments of the last decade including Liam Gallagher's meeting with Paul McCartney, his interview with a kindergarten class, and making their own tea. If you want to hear some more tea, we're spilling it all over the place over at patreon.com/blockedparty! $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every damn month including the aforementioned Libby Watson episode that just came out last week, where John had to do the blocking due to an insane Jeopardy! fan. We also do ad-free episodes, have an exclusive Discord, and MORE! And a reminder of BP Live! It's Top Three Weekend II with our friends at Not Even a Show and Guys, Bryan Quinby and Chris James! Live at Vancouver's Biltmore Cabaret on October 11 and 12. Weekend passes are available now at bit.ly/top3weekend, and as announced on the show, individual show tickets will go on sale on 9/11 at 10 am PT. Don't miss out! Amar Singh is a comedian whose first special, "Please Don't Kill Me", is available now on YouTube. You can also follow him on Instagram at @realexciting.
