She says several spiders crawled on her while sitting around a campfire, and days later one bite became swollen and extremely painful. Doctors haven't confirmed what species bit her. Apparently radioactive superpowers were not included. ------ THE REAL KILLERS What's the deadliest animal where you live? A 2026 state-by-state report produces some surprising answers. Police say a bystander intervened, a fight followed and Basin allegedly pulled a knife and threatened multiple people before throwing it into the ocean. An armed citizen reportedly returned fire, distracting the shooter and potentially giving customers and employees time to escape. The suspected gunman was later found dead, with authorities reportedly believing he took his own life. The investigation into the shooting and motive continues. ------ WHY DO I NEED A DASHCAM? Why spend money on a dashcam? Because after an accident there can suddenly be two completely different versions of what happened — yours and theirs. Dashcam footage can provide evidence for insurance claims, disputed fault, hit-and-runs, vandalism and road-rage incidents. You have renters insurance. You pay the premium every month. But here's the question nobody wants to ask until something goes horribly wrong: Are you sure you're actually protected?
