"A Simple Presentation into The Book of ACTS" - Chapter #8 - Part 2 - Bro. John "Ernie" Perez

In Part 2 of Chapter 8 continuing the study "A Simple Presentation into The Book of ACTs", Brother Ernie recaps the first part of Chapter 8 and takes us into a deep dive!  Get your notebooks ready! Persecution was supposed to silence the church—but it turned out to be rocket fuel. When believers scatter from Jerusalem, Philip steps into Samaria with a simple message about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus, and the city erupts with joy. Unclean spirits leave, the lame are healed, and crowds lean in. Yet even amid miracles, something crucial is missing: the believers haven’t received the Holy Spirit. That gap sends Peter and John on a focused mission to complete what God began. We walk through the pivotal moment when the apostles lay hands on the Samaritan believers and the Holy Spirit is received in a way that can be seen and heard. The impact is so striking that Simon, a former sorcerer, tries to buy the power to impart the Spirit. Peter’s firm rebuke cuts through the noise: the gifts of God are not for sale. We talk about why spiritual authority cannot be monetized, how jealousy poisons calling, and why repentance is not a one-time doorway but a daily posture that keeps our hearts soft and our witness honest. Along the way, we connect Acts 8 to the broader biblical story—Isaiah’s promise of refreshing, Ezekiel’s new heart and Spirit, John the Baptist’s prophecy, and Jesus’ invitation to ask the Father for the Holy Spirit. The thread is consistent: one gospel, one name, one baptism, one Spirit. We reflect on the early church’s wisdom in protecting both doctrine and experience, and we explore how real growth looks: humility that admits wrong, a conscience awakened by the Spirit, and a resilient will to press on. If you’re hungry to see the gospel’s full shape—belief, repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, and the gift of the Holy Spirit—this conversation offers clarity, challenge, and hope. Subscribe, share this episode with a friend who loves the book of Acts, and leave a review to tell us what sparked for you. I would love your feedback and topic suggestions! Pray for Our President!!! When Your Proclamation Becomes Prophecy!!!

Join Sis. Diahanna, Sis. Audia & Sis. Anne talk about prophetic words going around the Body of Christ.  Get your notebooks ready!!!  What if your words are undoing your own prayers? We dive into the practice of intercession with urgency and clarity, showing how Spirit-led prayer and disciplined speech can shape outcomes for our leaders, communities, and families. We open Scripture to anchor the approach—John 16 for guidance into truth, Romans 8 for the Spirit’s intercession when we don’t know what to pray, and Hebrews 4 for bold access to the throne of grace. Then we get practical: when a “prophetic” warning surfaces, do you agree with it or stand against it? We offer a simple discernment filter and a focused prayer strategy for protection, exposure of deception, and peace over every environment leaders enter. Across the conversation, we challenge a subtle trap: praying for safety while repeating speculative harm with our mouths. Proclamation becomes prophecy, so guarded speech matters. You’ll hear a call to persistent, daily intercession that prioritizes repentance and alignment with God’s will over volume or emotion. We talk courts of heaven, agreement and authority, and why unity in prayer withdraws consent from darkness. And we don’t stay abstract—we apply this to a concrete situation, lifting specific, targeted petitions for the President, his family, and the teams who protect him by land, air, and sea. If you’ve wanted a clear framework for powerful prayer that doesn’t drift into fear or performance, this conversation offers it. Expect biblical grounding, practical steps, and a communal prayer you can return to each day. Join us, add your agreement, and help carry a covering of protection and wisdom over our nation’s leadership. If this resonated, follow, share, and leave a review to help more listeners find the show—and tell us: what declaration are you standing on this week? Trust Broken, Faith Restored Through The Holy Spirit

Join Sis. Diahanna and Sis. Audia as they discuss some church news that really hurts the body as a whole. Some wounds cut deeper when they come from the people we trust to guard our souls. We open up about church hurt, high-profile failures, and the quiet cover-ups that leave congregations confused, angry, and exhausted—and we focus on the one safeguard we can all build today: spiritual discernment led by the Holy Spirit. Together we unpack what discernment really is—an understanding heart that can separate truth from error and good from evil—and how Scripture shapes that skill. We talk through real-life moments of hearing “not today” from God, why timing matters when sharing heavy words, and how to love people who are still on milk without shaming them. We also draw a firm line between charisma and character, exploring why hidden sin plus a microphone harms entire communities, and what genuine repentance and restoration should look like before anyone returns to a platform. This conversation is practical and hopeful. We share simple rhythms that strengthen your inner life: daily Bible intake to renew the mind, honest prayer that invites correction, quick repentance that keeps the heart soft, and community that values truth over image. We also address how to test the spirits, what fruit to look for, and how to guard your heart without growing cynical. If you’ve been wounded by leaders or disillusioned by institutions, take a breath with us, turn toward Jesus, and rebuild trust where it truly belongs. If this resonated, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs clarity, and leave a review to help more people find it. Your voice helps others recover theirs. I would love your feedback and topic suggestions! Ways to Give at www.m3mi.org...Thank you for your seed! :)

"A Simple Presentation into The Book of ACTS" - Chapter #8 - Part 1 - Bro. John "Ernie" Perez

Bro. Ernie continues teaching us on "A Simple Presentation in The Book of ACTS in Chapter 8.  Get your drink, your snack, your notebook and The Word and dive in!!!   Pressure doesn’t just test faith; it redirects it. We pick up the story at Stephen’s death and watch the church scatter under a wave of persecution, only to see the gospel leap from Jerusalem into Samaria exactly as Jesus promised. Saul goes house to house with fury, yet the scattered believers go street to street with hope. That collision—between opposition and obedience—becomes the engine of a larger mission. Philip steps into Samaria with a simple message: Jesus Christ. The city leans in. Deliverance breaks out, the lame and paralyzed are healed, and unclean spirits leave with loud cries. Great joy follows real power. We unpack the difference between spectacle and the authority of Jesus’ name, and why belief naturally leads to baptism and transformed lives. Even Simon the sorcerer, long revered for supernatural displays, believes and is baptized when confronted with authentic Kingdom power. News reaches Jerusalem, and Peter and John are sent—not to control a move of God, but to strengthen and align it. Together we explore how apostolic care brings clarity, prayer, and unity, and how Acts 8 exposes thin versions of the gospel that skip repentance, the Holy Spirit, and obedience. Along the way we connect the text to now: stories of persecution that couldn’t silence witness, a call to courageous faith, and a practical path for seekers—repentance as a lifelong turn, baptism in Jesus’ name, and a community that prays for the gift of the Holy Spirit. If this conversation stirred your faith, share it with a friend, subscribe for more, and leave a review with your key takeaway. Your words help others find the show and join the journey. 5. The Gospel of St. John - Chapter 1 - A Simple Presentation - Bro. John "Ernie" Perez

The Gospel of St. John - Chapter 1 - A Simple Presentation - Bro. John "Ernie" Perez

This week, Bro. Ernie starts a brand new series on "A Simple Presentation into The Gospel of St. John".  Personally one of my favorite!  Get your notebooks ready!  Unlike the other Gospels, John takes us on a journey to show the deity and lovingness of Jesus.  What if the smallest word changes everything? We open a fresh study of the Gospel of John by tracing Jesus’ claim that the Father is in the Son and the Son is in the Father, then follow that thread across 2 Corinthians, Colossians, Timothy, Hebrews, and Acts. The aim is simple and demanding: believe on Jesus as the Scripture has said, not as culture, tradition, or preference might prefer. From living water in John 7 to life through His name in John 20, we explore how Scripture-shaped belief leads to receiving the Spirit, praying with authority, and expecting signs that follow believers. Along the way, we slow down for a human portrait of John. Likely the youngest apostle, called from nets into nearness, part of the inner circle at the transfiguration and Gethsemane, and the friend who leaned on Jesus’ chest at supper. That closeness did not blur his doctrine; it clarified it. John saw the humanity of Jesus and still wrote that He is the express image of God’s person. We reflect on why Jesus entrusted His mother to John, why rumors swirled that John might not die, and how John’s long witness formed a Gospel that blends affection, awe, and uncompromising truth. This conversation also equips you to study well. We share practical tools: use first mention to anchor symbols, read in context with covenant and audience in view, gather complete mention across Scripture, and pray with patience. Expect God to answer. Expect the text to shape your beliefs. Expect that calling on the name of Jesus is more than a tagline—it is a claim on power, identity, and mission. If you’re ready to trade vague inspiration for clear conviction and living water, grab your Bible and join us as we make John and Acts a daily rhythm. Subscribe, share with a friend who loves Scripture, and leave a review to help others find the study. I would love your feedback and topic suggestions! Q & A with Bro. John "Ernie" Perez & The Girls - Binkys, Bottles & The Word

Join us girls "Around the Table" for a Q&A with Bro. John "Ernie" Perez as we discuss a wide range of topics relevant to Christian life today. Ever felt like church is a comfy couch when you need a training ground? We dive into what it really takes to grow up in faith: moving from spiritual milk to solid food, laying down the binky of soothing platitudes, and learning to hear God for yourself. With honest stories, scriptural insight, and a warm round-table of voices, we explore how love-led correction, private mentorship, and everyday relationships shape mature believers who can carry real responsibility. We trace the throughline from Abraham’s covenant to practical discipleship today—why alignment must come before assignment, how the law can be training wheels that yield to grace, and why testimony matters more than rule-keeping. You’ll hear vivid examples of “fruit inspecting” without shaming, the power of asking better questions—Did you pray? What did you find in Scripture?—and how the Spirit gently forms discernment so we can judge prophecy, resist trends, and protect our witness. Modesty, speech, and conduct show up not as checklists, but as choices that either point people to Jesus or to us. Most of all, we make a case for house-to-house discipleship over stage-driven religion. Growth happens at the table, on the porch, and in the aisle—where we listen, open the Bible, and walk with people through fear, failure, and new faith. If you’ve been stuck in comfort or craving courage, this conversation offers a path: repent, obey, build relationships, and keep your heart soft before God. If this resonates, share it with a friend, subscribe for more soul-stretching conversations, and leave a review with one takeaway you’re putting into practice this week. Your voice helps more people find a faith that matures.  (*Recorded on 1/12/2026) I would love your feedback and topic suggestions! Ways to Give at www.m3mi.org...Thank you for your seed! :)

"The Girls" Share How We Pray, Why We Fast & Why a "Reset" is Necessary for a New Year

Join "us girls" "around the table" as we dig into various topics to start a new year!  Sis. Diahanna, Sis. Audia, Sis. Anne, Sis. Tammie, Sis. Sandy, Sis. Joyce and Sis. Helen.   What if prayer felt less like a script and more like a sincere conversation with a Father who knows you well? We pulled up chairs around the table and shared real stories: quiet moments that begin with the Lord’s Prayer, whispered pleas while driving, and late-night talks that end in silence—listening for a nudge, an inclination, or a verse that lands like an answer. Along the way, we named the difference between needs and wants, and how God keeps meeting us where we are. January brought our first fruits fast, and with it a bold word for the year: intentional. The second word reframed everything: reset, not restart. We talk candidly about fasting what actually costs us—meals, sugar, coffee, TV—and how to fill the space with Scripture, not just willpower. From clean eating and intermittent fasting to swapping crime shows for faith-centered content, the reset moved from the pantry to our patterns. We dove into the Bible Recap, verse mapping, and a Genesis-to-Revelation overview to see the big story and let it shape our small choices. We also got practical about mental clutter and scattered days. Simple lists, three-hour study deep dives that surprised us, and an honest look at how external mess mirrors internal noise. Intercession became specific: calling our leaders by name, covering our kids and grandkids, and praying peace over our homes. The throughline is intimacy—ending the night with Jesus and greeting the morning in his presence, not as a duty but as desire. If you’re craving a spiritual reset that doesn’t erase your progress but realigns your heart, this conversation offers a path: start small, be intentional, and make room for God in the minutes you usually give away. Listen, share with a friend, and tell us what you’re resetting this year. Subscribe, leave a review, and help us reach more people who are ready for a deeper, simpler walk with Jesus.  (*Recorded on 1/7/2026) I would love your feedback and topic suggestions! Circumcision - Part 4 (Final Episode) with Bro. John "Ernie" Perez

Join us "Around the Table" with Bro. John "Ernie" Perez, Sis. Patti Perez and Sis. Audia as he takes us on the study of Circumcision in the Old and New Testament. Ever wondered why the apostles preached Christ from the law, the prophets, and the Psalms? We pull the thread from Abraham’s circumcision to the waters of baptism and show how the old sign becomes the new heart-mark in Christ. With Romans 6 and 1 Peter 3 as anchors, we explore baptism as burial and resurrection, not just a symbol but a covenant act that shapes identity, cleanses conscience, and signals a true break from the old life. We walk through Acts like a field guide: Samaria believes and is baptized in the name of Jesus, then receives the Holy Spirit by the laying on of hands. Cornelius’s household is filled with the Spirit and then commanded to be baptized. Ephesus hears the gospel, is re-baptized into Jesus’ name, and speaks in tongues and prophesies. Along the way, Ananias’s charge to Paul—“be baptized and wash away your sins”—clarifies the relationship between repentance and remission. We also unpack Colossians 2, where Paul calls baptism the circumcision of Christ, an operation without hands that marks a new covenant reality. Our goal is clarity and courage. We argue that faith without obedience is not faith, that baptism is central to Christian formation, and that a robust grasp of Old Testament covenants unlocks the New Testament’s power. We keep the tone warm and practical, sharing stories, passages, and pastoral cautions so you can test the pattern for yourself and teach it with confidence. If this conversation challenged or encouraged you, share it with a friend, subscribe for more, and leave a review with your biggest takeaway or question. Your feedback shapes our upcoming live Q&A and helps more listeners find these deep dives into Scripture.  (*Recorded on 1/12/2026) I would love your feedback and topic suggestions!
