    In a serendipitous turn of events at the Texas Association of Talented and Gifted Conference, our host, Jennifer, had the opportunity to listen in on a live podcast recording featuring speaker and author, Andi McNair, interviewing today's guest, Aric Bostic. Known for his impactful presentations on relationship-building and being a champion for students, Aric shares his journey from being a child of adverse childhood experiences to becoming a first-generation college student, high school teacher, and national speaker. Through his Fired Up to Show Up professional development program, Aric empowers educators to understand the science of attachment and intentional relationship building in the educational setting. Aric emphasizes the importance of understanding attachment styles in both students and educators. He provides insights into how educators can create safe and secure environments, allowing students to thrive and learn.
