This week we led off with the Champions League playoff round where a controversy-laden tie saw Real Madrid edge out Benfica and the story of the week is Bodø/Glimt as the Norwegians from north of the arctic circle upset Inter! In the Premier League we had the North London Derby where Arsenal dominated Spurs through Eze and Gyokeres while Man City kept pace with a win over Newcastle! Barça leapfrogged back over Real for top spot as they beat Levante while Osasuna impressed in victory over Los Blancos, Atalanta downed Napoli in a thriller while Inter extended their lead atop Serie A, and Bayern fot a late scare in a win over Frankfurt while Leipzig and Dortmund shared points! A big transfer in the NWSL as Bethune joins Kansas City, plus more news and notes!
