Le point sur la nouvelle stratégie automobile – 5 février 2026

Le directeur parlementaire du budget affirme que le plan du gouvernement fédéral qui vise à consacrer l’équivalent de 5% du PIB à la défense d’ici 2035 ferait grimper le déficit du pays de 63 milliards de dollars cette année-là. Selon un rapport du bureau du directeur parlementaire du budget par intérim, l’augmentation des dépenses militaires de base coûterait au pays environ 33,5 milliards de dollars de plus par année en moyenne au cours des dix prochaines années.
