    Episode 7 - Meet Leslie

In this episode, you'll meet Leslie Gloor Duncan. She created her own "bucket list" of items to cross off. Leslie will share her insights, goals, and we'll discuss how grief can impact big life decisions.

And a quote Leslie asked that we share (which captures the essence of what we talked about in this episode)

"Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamt would have come his way. I have learned a deep respect for one of Goethe's couplets:
Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it.
Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it!”

LKirkham ,

Amazing ❤️

Hey Meg and Suse,
Today was my day off, the kids were at school and I was able to take time and listen to your pod cast in peace and quiet, and I am so happy that I was able to do so - it honestly made my day!! Thank you so much, I laughed out loud so many times and it took me back to those first few years at King’s that all of us “girls” first met!! Thank you 😊 so much for sharing your stories and for inspiring all of us to try new adventures and challenge ourselves to make and take time for the things that matter to us!!
Well, I am so proud to call you two pod- casters my dear friends ❤️
I also can’t wait to hear your next episode - I think I have found my favourite pod cast!!
Hugs and much love,
Lora
