A Beautiful Anarchy is a candid ongoing exploration of what it means to be an everyday creator, whether you're a writer, photographer, sculptor, or a puppeteer who works exclusively with vintage macrame owls. The struggles and rewards of bringing something new into the world are universal, and you’re not alone. Let's talk about it.

Good little push

I've followed David's work for years, and the podcasts are a great addition - sometimes it's that little push I need to get me out the door working. Thank you David.

What all creatives need to hear

I’ve been following David since his semi monthly YouTube videos. His photography is surpassed only by his philosophy on creativity and entrepreneurship. Every time I’m struggling creatively this podcast makes me feel like I’m plugged in to the creative community, and gives me motivation to make something cool! Thanks for all you do, David!

A pep talk from my big brother

I just read a review that described your podcast as “mental acupuncture” and I couldn’t agree more. The pace, tone and length make me feel like I’m getting a gentle pep talk from the big brother who *actually* understands me. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting David before - and in those brief moments - I felt seen, encouraged and emboldened - to take leaps and make art. But also - to hear David speak so candidly about doubt, vulnerability and the imposter syndrome - is so very encouraging. I am not alone. Thank you
