Bad Place Bad Time

The drug thing, I’m an adddict, you can be clean for 15 years and relapse at a moments lapse. The family can’t sit there and say she would never go back to drugs. The main symptom of a serious addiction is relapse… If I did a bunch of Ritalin and went into a riot I’d probably have a heart attack. Amphetamines can really mess with your heart. If there was any fentanyl around it would be so easy to accident take it (thinking it wasn’t fentanyl). The family is far to adamant she was clean but they wouldn’t have known. They can’t watch her 24/7 365.

Good journalism, terrible story.

This story can be easily summed up as “play stupid games, win stupid prizes”. I really feel for Roseann’s family, as I can only imagine how difficult this loss was, but they are completely out of touch with reality. I don’t blame them for that - I’d probably have a tough time coming to terms with a loved one dying due to their own stupidity too.
