Thanos = Comedic and annoying Joffrey from Game of Thrones

Predictions: - Frontman joined the game to understand 456 - Handsome cop won't amount to anything - Might influence painter-father's survival - Painter-father's survival/death will lead to the downfall of the organ harvesters - Everything setup in Season 2 will have unsatisfying payoffs - Won't have a night-time brawl scene - 222 will outlast 230 - 456 will live - They will all vote out or they'll pull some BS Hopes: - Drew and Devon stop watching Squid Game Season 2 and start watching Produce 48 ... They don't call him useful cop

Handsome Cop: - Intentionally demotes himself to somewhere where evidence stands - Character does not draw investment from the audience - Little was accomplished for deeper characterization for all the screen time - Handsome cop is handsome - A good candidate for primary protagonist 011: - Audience point of view into the Squid Game hosts - Cleary cares about people/children but can kill without hesitation - The triple layered deceit leading the audience into believing she would be a contestant -- The situation was not similar to what occurred in season 1 - May explore what she is capable of through anonymity of the game and mask Recruiter: - Kept mistakenly being referred to as The Front Man - Were Bread and Lotto and Russian Roulette games a way to characterize Predictions: - Devon will be very sad about this season - Will not be about the individual games, will not be a primary plot driver - Second in command/number 2 henchman was flipped by the recruiter - 456 will either become the Black Mask/Front Man or Die - This is just the Korean sect of the games, there will be an American one or African one Hopes: - Structural re-alignment - Character focus shift away from 456 and onto 011 - The paramilitary force is removed or are plants - At least one participant is sympathetic ... Good effort to wrap up what should have been 2 seasons worth of content Arcs not linked causing things to feel cohesive Cait is so dissatisfying How should the Vander/Vi/Jinx fight have played out? Too much story that the audience knows, but not the characters Naruto tangent Don't play League of Legends, not even once But why time travel? And Multiverses Why did we have to stop the fights to have the Jayce/Viktor fight Why was this the big climactic fight? Jayce and Viktor were NOT the emotional climax the show was set up for Something Something crappy Snyder cut We talk ourselves out of how satisfying the ending was. Too much spectacle Ambessa, Viktor, Vi feel resolved; Mel, Jayce and Jinx not as much Animation quality dropped or stylization? Honestly thought the stream froze with some of the choices.... Great album. but more songs than Carol and Tuesday But why sex scene? Scenes should always be changing, if no dramatic change, the scene isn't needed If this scene was continued, we should have been seeing the scars Vi built up and contrasting to Cait Drew has no expectations There is no fall damage in league of legends Vi: Can't give up on her family Was Vi right about Powder actually there? Jinx: Was she making the right decision to end the cycle? Nice to see what could have been with Powder Would have been nice to see more of the impact from losing Isha Conversation with Silco was fantastic Nice to see the organized Chaos Jinx brought to the fight She did cut her hair Cait: She was ther I guess Best conversation/characterization was with Jinx Seems like there might have been some consequence with her crimes, but no I guess she lost an eye, but that just makes her cool I guess? There is no reason to believe Cait has changed SHOW DON'T TELL!! Dev gives a TED talk on Cait's (lack of) character She was important for Vi Jayce: The leg break made Dev thing Jayce was the sorcerer Never felt like the main story Mel: The Black Rose feels incomplete The story feels like a setup for a different season Ekko: Payoff not great, cause we didn't see it Nice to see him saving Jinx, but not developed Should that have been the real Hemdinger? Ekko's time powers didn't really have any impact (outside of saving Jinx) Viktor: Interference in the fights was a disappointment Glad he was the bad guy, but also the sorcerer/good guy? If Viktor never went back in time to save Jayce, he would have solved his own problem.. The mind tap seemed forced, previously everything was tied to Shimmer Ambessa should have been using Viktor, not the other way around But why not care about Skye? She was such a great character ... Vi: - Should have been a little more aware of how Zaun sees Jinx - Obviously has lost herself - Still craves a relationship with her sister - Jinx getting the better of her in their fight - Is there going to be a relationship with Cait? Is it deserved? Isha: - A missing piece that helps Jinx stabilize - Also helps bring Vi back to her senses - The innocence lost with the sisters - But Isha.... - Was she the only thing hold Jinx together? - The Real MVP Caitlyn: - Still not really more added to her as a character - All rage, no character - So unclear, it was hard to know who she sided with (Vi or Ambessa) - Will her perspective of Jinx change? Jayce: - Where are the science bros? - What was brought back - Viktor or Jayce - was Jayce in the right attacking Viktor - Was the Hexcore trying to restore itself through Jayce? Mel: - Is the black Rose actually an antagonistic force? - Apparently a wizard - Is there a half sister, or is that Mel? - The puzzle dungeon - No leadup showing her as a thinker that way, or indication of seeing magic? ...
