  1. The Before I Die Series- Girl Power

The Before I Die Series- Girl Power

The Before I Die Series: Topic 10: Girl Power! Ladies! After watching the Wendy Williams movie and documentary I have to tackle this topic of “Female Power”. I was so moved by the rawness of Wendy’s story. As women we have to be careful that the strength and talents that we possess are not taken advantage of. As I watched the movie I saw Wendy, like many of us, give our power away over and over. It’s not that people are bad for us, it’s that we trust to easily when our hearts are being manipulated. You see ladies we are THE PRIZE! No matter how you play it we have the ultimate POWER for many reasons. But individuals that come into our lives who are looking for their opportunity will use our kindness for weakness. What we must do to stop this abuse: Stop bearing things and sweeping it under the rug, be honest with yourself and what you really want and need  Stop not putting focus on the truth and the light because the truth shall set you free Don’t confuse Separation with protection, the manipulative partner wants to keep you blind to what is really happening around you so they don’t lose their benefits By calling out the abuse of any type, you will be free and  it will help you to be able to grow and to move forward. It will help you to release all those feelings of bitterness and hurt shame and guilt. God knows that all of us have our own stories.  He knows who we need and what we need and when we need it. Through prayer and supplication we have to make a request and remain patient to let God answer our prayers. What we miss sometimes is the small but mighty key of God!  He wants us to take that key, turn it to unlock all the wonderful doors to our happiness. The word says taste and see that the Lord is good but you have to trust God all the way to the end with your life. God will give you the desires of your heart but you have to be patient and you have to wait on God so that you don’t end up suffering through to learn the lesson that God has for you!!!! #coach #prayer #wendywilliams #power #gifts

  2. The Before I Die Series- Low Hanging Fruit

The Before I Die Series- Low Hanging Fruit

The Before We Die Series Topic: Low Hanging Fruit I was once that low hanging fruit, that woman that had no self-esteem, that woman that had no self respect. I was that woman who was easily manipulated by any one that felt they could do so. I never stood up for myself I never found my power or the strength and who I was and that’s what allowed me to be in situations where others controlled my moves, controlled my actions, controlled how I felt.  Today, I am a stronger person and a stronger version of myself. Today I thank God for that, for giving me the strength to know who’s I am, for helping me to understand that I don’t have to let anybody run over me or treat me poorly.  I made a mistake not standing up to certain people in my life. I would not tell them what I was uncomfortable with, and I allowed negativity into my space which then affected my life. I had no boundaries (the standard that you set for yourself on what you will tolerate and won’t tolerate).  Friend, we have to be so careful as to who we allow in our lives how we allow them in our space. Even   what they are allowed to control or not control.  How to stop being low hanging fruit: 🚦1. We have to first learn how to set boundaries for ourselves.  🚦2. Be bold enough to teach and express to everyone our boundaries  🚦3. Feel safe and strong enough to reject things people and their poor treatment. Other people in our lives shouldn’t be able to control us as Individuals. The other person might get upset but they will understand in time. You have to protect you.  The healthiest relationship is the one they you we have with ourselves and then others will follow our lead. Being the one that is strong enough to stand up for what we want as a person and never being afraid to tell someone how you feel is the truth.  This is my In life now: If they don’t respect your boundaries that Person wasn’t meant to be in your life anyway.... #restore #life #fun #coach #life #coach #love #blackgirlskillingit #femininpower #jesusislord Amen

  4. Before We Die -Topic 6: "Being Intentional”

    2021-01-04

Before We Die -Topic 6: "Being Intentional”

We blame others when we are not intentional with our time or our purpose. This is an issue that needs attention. If you have taken stock of the areas where you need to improve I am sure “managing time” is on the list. To improve we must be intentional with our time on a daily basis. This will help you meet your goals. The issue I noticed in myself is that even when I had more time and freedom I still was not intentional. I still did not take the advantage of the extra time.  Honestly I realized that procrastination is a problem that I possessed that was keeping me from reaching my true potential. I was often stressed and always trying to meet deadlines. This put a strain on my relationships and my overall life. I wasn’t really able to enjoy the fruits of my labor. To be successful we have to personally deal with our issues that are causing us to not be Intentional with our time. Once you become more intentional we can exist and succeed with any amount of time we possess. The best thing about it is that no matter how busy we are, even when we have less time we can still get more done. It works because we’ve identified what the needs are and we are intentional with ourselves and with our time. Start today! Make a list, check it off.  Even if it’s only two things get in the habit of making a list and being intentional with your time you will see a huge difference in your ability to achieve your dreams! Let’s be a better version of ourselves in 2021! 6. Before I Die- What is True success

    2020-12-08

Before I Die- What is True success

“Before I Die” Topic 3: What is True Success? One of the things that I’ve learned in life is just because you’re professionally successful doesn’t mean that you’re personally successful. Sometimes overcoming our personal issues such as addictions, marital problems, and family problems takes a toll on us. These issues can affect our professional lives. It is very important that we take care of our personal self.  I have been a very emotional creature and if we don’t find ways to control our emotions we can find ourselves in any kind of situation. These situations can happen at any given time, and may not be positive for us. Without emotional control we can let our issues spill over into our lives (personal or professional) and we don’t know how to react because we didn’t want people to know those things about us. There is an old saying that goes “What’s done in dark will come to the light”. Many of us don’t want others to know our secrets or worse if we are in trouble. I am the same. There is a fine line about privacy. However it is sometimes not as simple as just trying to keep it together. Everyone has something that they are trying to hide or trying to deal with personally. In order to maintain balance you want to see help. There are many options such as counseling, support groups, and simply confiding in a trusted confidant. These groups are there to listen and to you work through your issues. The most important thing is to not allow yourself to stay in situations that will be detrimental to you in the long run. When we don’t get help you and your issues will be exposed. It’s better to seek help, and to work through your issues before they affect your life in a negative way.... What do you need help with today?
