Ray Ferraro, who was a former NHL hockey player, is now an ESPN/ABC journalist and a part-time and part-time analyst. The NHL was Ray's first professional league and he played there for 21 seasons. On August 2, 2002, Ferraro announced his retirement from the National Hockey League (NHL).

Host needs interviewing Lessons
Update #2 No change. Listening to the episode about ratings etc June 1. Not sure if I can finish despite my interest in the subject. The host just loves to hear himself talk .....on and on and on and on. Why have a guest if your 'question' is never ending?
Update as this podcast has returned. 2 points: listened to the McCown interview.... McCown said TO THE HOST that short to the point questions are key ....The Host then rambled on and on and on....the guy loves to hear himself talk. 2 nd point : There already is a podcast that covers radio and sports radio, is one of the most popular podcasts in Canada, and attracts all the big names, and recently had a full page Toronto Star spread celebrating his 1,000 episode. I don't think this Bleave podcast can compete with this host who only wants to hear himself talk. Still unlistenable The business end of broadcasting, & the business end of sports broadcasting, could make a great podcast, albeit maybe a bit niche, but there's problems with this podcast. The host is fantastic at taking 3 minutes to ask what should be a 15 second question, especially when he gets into hypotheticals which is pretty well every other question. Just ask the question in a straightforward manner, not slowly drawing out a long convoluted hypothetical scenario. you can even hear the guests looking at their watches wondering when the question will end. the other major problem is the hosts obsession & love for ex broadcaster McCown. We get it, you are obsessed with him & think the world revolves around him. A newsflash: many of us couldn't stand him & are glad to see him gone. If the purpose of this podcast is simply to promote McCown, then tell us upfront so we don't have to listen. Minor observation : it's not a radio station, so it's kind of weird to keep saying " you're listening to B!eave the Press Row, with Jonah whoever". it's a podcast, we know what we are listening to. it's just weird conclusion: can't continue to listen due to long rambling hypothetical style of the host
