Okay so i absolutely love Bonfire Babble podcast!! i only discovered this amazing show a few months ago and have since listened to most of the episodes. Corey and Detta are amazing people who work so well together, i enjoy when they can bring two different perspectives to a topic. The biggest reason i love this show is the vast topics discussed, there are episodes about tarot, discussing the sabbots, interviews with authors. some of my favourite episodes are on topics like; knot magic, candle magic, tassomancy, books of shadows and grimoirs. There is just so MUCH knowledge and information in this show. The structure of the episodes is another huge reason that this is one of my favourite shows, whereas many podcasts may only discuss the history of a topic or only share their own opinions and experiences, Bonfire Babble really dose both. They always share the cultural history as well as their experience on a topic, often also discussing different opinions or stances on the topic. Corey and Detta always site their sources and stress the importance of being ethical and acknowledging and appreciating different cultures and practices, which is so amazing to see. I realize this has gotten quite long, and i apologized if its overly wordy, but i wanted to try and share all the reasons i love this podcast. It has taught me SO much and i will forever be grateful that i found this show.
