BTN Bites - Caller Mary denounces Amanda Simard
On Wednesday night's show, hours before Amanda Simard announced she would leave the PC Party to sit as an independent, I was explaining what was happening.
I had talked about Simard likely couldn't stay in caucus after not only voting with the NDP motion on French services but more importantly, she had voted against the government's fall economic statement - a confidence vote.
Then Mary called in.
A Francophone woman who lives in Simard's riding, Mary was not impressed.
I think she will be less impressed today after the announcement. -

Law Helping Peter Nygard?
Are we ever going to see police in Canada pick up the slack on rounding up all the crime families in what’s called a “hot bed of crime” surrounding the Nygard story and as a result Canada in general.
Is Canada a hub for “milk cartoon kids” as crimes against children have been “payed to pass” by pockets as deep as Nygard’s?
Who are the national review board of Canada and will they look into to the many issues of abuses committed by those in Law?
Love the show
This is a great show. Although there does appear to be the odd large gaps between episodes. I wish it was updated more frequently
Great podcast
I’ve always enjoyed Brian’s commentary on political and social issues. A free thinker and great explanations. Just wish there was more than 1 every 6 months but that doesn’t degrade the material it holds.
Thanks Brian.
