Brick by Brick is Tristan’s and Stefan’s LEGO podcast. We spend a lot of time talking about LEGO, so we thought we might as well record it and see if other people would find this interesting. We will browse through old LEGO catalogs, reminiscing about our childhood memories, talk about design, colors and whatever comes to our minds.
Ep. 8 – Star Wars, Star Wars, Star Wars, oh and also Rock Raiders: LEGO from 1999
Enjoy an endless monologue from Tristan talking about LEGO Star Wars with a small Intermission where Stefan gets a chance to talk about LEGO Rock Raiders
Ep. 7 – Indiana Jones without the license – The Adventurers: LEGO from 1998
This time we explore the LEGO tombs of 1998. We’ll find not only some brave adventurers but also some very strange aliens who have a special fondness for insects.
Ep. 6 – Neon Yellow, Fright Knights and deep-sea divers: LEGO from 1997
Dive with us into the catalog from 1997! It looks like LEGO starts to experiment more and more. We not only get another faction for the time cruisers, but also a surprisingly spooky theme called the Fright Knights and some rather funky Aliens.
Ep. 5 – Guns, Dynamite and Money: LEGO from 1996
A lot of new, exciting but also some curious stuff this year! We have a new western theme, new pirate ships, new trains and those weird Time Cruisers.
Ep. 4 – Shiny, Chrom-y, Metallic-y: LEGO from 1995
Before we dive into the catalog for 1995 we talk a bit about how we create the covers for our podcast. Otherwise this year’s catalog features some impressive new themes like the royal knights as well as aquazone and a very special new color: chrome!
Ep. 3 – King Kahuka & Trains: LEGO from 1994
In this episode, we talk about the new pirate subtheme Islanders and Tristan shares with us his deep love for trains.
